The overall "Millennium Crane Returning" shape of Wuhan Station highlights the characteristics of Hubei, implying the spiritual Millennium Yellow Crane, marveling at the changes in its hometown and returning gracefully. The 60-meter-high roof protruding from the middle of the building indicates that Wuhan is a key place for the rise of Hubei and the central provinces. The nine eaves are arranged concentrically, which also symbolizes the important geographical location of Wuhan as a thoroughfare for nine provinces.

The current entry mode of railway stations in my country is waiting mode. Overseas train stations are walk-through, so you can just go when you arrive. Wuhan Railway Station pioneered a streamlined model that combines waiting and passing, adopting the method of "elevated waiting, entry and exit". Passengers can choose to enter the waiting room to wait for the train to enter the station, or they can enter the station directly through the green channel.

Wuhan Station will form a seamless connection between railways, urban buses and subways, providing passengers with maximum convenience.

Wuhan Station is the terminal station of the planned urban rail transit Lines 4 and 5, with a platform level on the underground floor. After getting off the train, passengers can transfer to the subway without leaving the station, and can connect with other rail transit lines through transfer nodes such as Yuejiazui, Xujiapeng, Hongshan Square, and Wuchang Railway Station along the line.

With the help of solar power generation and energy saving, Wuhan Railway Station has a huge building area and consumes huge energy for operation. Part of the roof of the station is made of solar photovoltaic panels. During the day, sufficient sunlight can be used to generate electricity for station lighting.
