The Development Course of Nanjing University Alumni Association

1990 In May, Nanjing University held the first alumni congress at home and abroad. The delegates adopted the articles of association of Nanjing University Alumni Association in principle. After a year of preparation, Nanjing University Alumni Association was formally established on June 2nd, 199 1. 1May, 1993, with the approval of the State Education Commission, the Alumni Association was officially registered in the Ministry of Civil Affairs and became a national association with legal personality.

The establishment of the Alumni Association of Nanjing University has brought the alumni of Nanjing University into close contact with their predecessors, such as Central University and Jinling University, and also brought together the origin of their alma mater and alumni from all over the world. In May 2007, the 4th Alumni Congress was held at home and abroad, with more than 65,438+080 participants. The meeting reviewed and approved the work report of the third Council of Nanjing University Alumni Association; The fourth Council of Nanjing University Alumni Association was elected, as well as the president, vice president and secretary general of the association.

At present, there are more than 80 alumni associations at home and abroad, including CUHK Alumni Association, Jinda Alumni Association and Nantah Alumni Association, with more than 65,438+million alumni, gradually forming an international alumni network of Nantah. The Alumni Association is constantly developing and perfecting, and is condensing many Nantah alumni into a United and friendly whole. The Alumni Association publishes a quarterly newsletter, Nantah Alumni Newsletter, and has a website on the Internet to strengthen the contacts and exchanges between the alma mater and alumni at home and abroad, and between alumni and alumni.

The permanent office of Nanjing University Alumni Association is located in Zhixing Building, the alma mater.
