On February 6, 2015, the official website of Shanghai SIPG Football Club announced the team’s anthem. The team anthem was selected through a three-week selection process and was voted on by 2,000 fans.

SIPG’s “Fans’ Wall of Honor” is located at the entrance of the team’s home stadium, Stand No. 26, of the Shanghai Stadium. It was unveiled on January 31, 2016 to symbolize the team. The red base is supplemented by the large slogan "WE ARE REDS". The team's emblem is located in the center, with the eye-catching "2016 Thank you for having you" and "WELCOME HOME" listed above and below. In addition, the logos of eight major SIPG fan groups are also displayed side by side. The names of 3,360 SIPG fans who completed the real-name authentication before January 1, 2016 are arranged in an orderly manner on the wall of honor. SIPG hopes to build a wall of honor to thank the fans for their long-term support of the team, and also to express the club's best wishes for a heart-to-heart connection with the fans.
