In order to further improve the utilization rate of rural libraries and make them play a better role in the construction of new countryside, many local organizations have carried out a series of reading and utilization activities of rural libraries to send good books to the grassroots. 1. In view of the present situation that a large number of migrant farmers return home and primary and secondary school students are on holiday during the Spring Festival, 54 rural bookstores in our district are fully open during the Spring Festival, and the librarians of rural bookstores are arranged to stick to their posts and provide good services to facilitate villagers to borrow books, so as to ensure the effective development of reading activities during the Spring Festival.

Second, increase publicity. Take advantage of the opportunity of migrant workers returning home for the New Year during the Spring Festival to widely mobilize and actively guide farmers to understand and enter the farmer's bookstore. Decorate the environment inside and outside the farmer's library, paste Spring Festival couplets and hang lanterns. The farmer's library has a strong festive atmosphere and creates a good reading and learning environment.

Third, strengthen organizational leadership. On the eve of the Spring Festival, our bureau organized relevant personnel to go deep into the farmer's bookstore in Shuangdun Village and Meiqiao Township to visit the librarians of the farmer's bookstore and arrange the opening hours and activities of the farmer's bookstore during the Spring Festival.

Fourth, carry out various activities. Relying on the farmer's bookstore, the villagers are organized to read, and various forms of activities such as literary programs and exchange of reading experience are carried out in combination with the township comprehensive cultural station. "Welcome the Spring Festival, send books to the farmer's bookstore" to talk about experiences and write Spring Festival couplets. Activities such as "Ode to Joy in Pearl City", calligraphy and photography art exhibition in Huaishang District, and farmers' basketball match were held successively, and 10 programs were selected and sent in urban areas. In the "Three Rural Areas" held in Caolaoji Town, the staff of agriculture, health, justice and other departments were invited to provide guidance services at the library and information service station. On the fifteenth day of the first month, a regional gongs and drums competition will be held.

Fifth, grasp the key points and popularize skill books. Spring Festival is the winter leisure season, so it's just the right time for farmers' bookstores to carry out reading activities. The farmer's library in our district puts books on breeding, production and science and technology in a prominent position, and the administrator guides the masses to borrow them. Villagers read books on new agricultural varieties and new farming techniques in the farmer's library, and farmers' concerns about how to fight drought and prevent freezing scientifically and how to spray drugs and fertilize reasonably have been solved.
