The responsibility concept of the National Energy Group is the national energy, the motive force of responsibility.

National Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as National Energy Group) is an energy development enterprise, which was formed by the merger and reorganization of China Guodian Group and Shenhua Group, two fortune 5 enterprises. It was officially listed on November 28, 217, and it is an important state-owned backbone enterprise directly under the central government and a pilot enterprise for the reform of state-owned capital investment companies.

the company has eight industrial sectors, including coal, thermal power, new energy, hydropower, transportation, chemical industry, science and technology, environmental protection and finance, and is the world's largest coal production company, thermal power generation company, wind power generation company and coal-to-liquid coal chemical company.

development history

the company received a notice from the controlling shareholder on January 4th, and the National Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the National Energy Group) made a resolution of the board of directors on January 4th, approving the merger plan between the National Energy Group and Guodian Group and the proposed merger agreement between the National Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. and China Guodian Group Co., Ltd..

according to the merger plan and the merger agreement to be signed, the National Energy Group intends to absorb and merge Guodian Group, which will be cancelled, and the National Energy Group will continue to exist as a merged company.

This is the latest progress in the merger and reorganization of Shenhua Group and Guodian Group. After the cancellation of Guodian Group, the five major power generation groups in China were changed into National Energy Group, Huaneng Group, National Power Investment Group, Huadian Group and Datang Group.
