Sanbei Expressway starts from Zhazhun, Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County (near Sanjiang Railway Station, Zhuping Village and Fenshuidong Village) and connects with Guilin-Sanjiang section of Xiamen-Chengdu Expressway which is about to start construction. It is known that the planning passes through Sanjiang County, Rongshui County, Rongan County, Liucheng County and Liujiang County of Liuzhou City, Xiangzhou County and wuxuan county of Laibin City, Gangnan District and Guiping City of Guigang City, Pubei County and Hepu County of Qinzhou City and Haicheng District of Beihai City, and finally reaches the intersection of Yintan Avenue and Tieshangang Avenue (North Rail First Class Highway) in Haicheng District of Beihai City.

As of August 20 15, the Sanjiang-Liuzhou section of the Three-North Expressway is under construction, and the interchange section from Zimu Town to Hepu Shiwan Town in Gangnan District is under construction. Some sections have been completed and opened to traffic.

Note: The terminal toll station of Sanbei Expressway is located in the north of Hepu Interchange. After passing through the toll station, the total length is 16 km, which is seamlessly connected with the urban roads in Beihai.

Two sections of Sanbei Expressway have been opened to traffic: South Ring Section of Liuzhou Ring Expressway (also known as South Ring Section of Sanbei Expressway and South Ring Section of Liuyi Expressway), Liuzhou-Wuxuan Expressway (Liu Wu Expressway) and Hepu-Shiwan-Beihai Expressway (also known as North-South Section of Sanbei Expressway, "North-South" means Nanning-Beihai, which is the name used in the initial construction of Guangxi Expressway).

Sanjiang-Liuzhou Expressway (Sanliu Expressway); Guigang-Hepu Expressway (He Jiong Expressway). As of August 20 16, Sanliu Expressway is under construction.

On September 25th, 2009, the groundbreaking ceremony of Sanjiang-Liuzhou Expressway invested and constructed by guangxi traffic Investment Group Co., Ltd. was held in Liucheng County, Liuzhou City. The total length of the project is 186 km, and the estimated total investment is106.2 billion yuan. The appearance of this expressway not only ended the history that three counties in northern Liuzhou were closed to expressways, but also opened an inter-provincial passage closer to the sea for neighboring Guizhou and Hunan provinces.

Liuzhou to Sanjiang takes only 1.5 hours.

Wei, the project owner and president of guangxi traffic Investment Group Co., Ltd., introduced that Sanjiang-Liuzhou Expressway is an important part of Guangxi Expressway network. The total length of the project is 1.86 km, the estimated total investment is 1.62 million yuan, and the construction period is 3 years.

The reporter learned that due to the relatively backward traffic conditions, before the completion of the Three North Expressway, only National Highway 209 could be taken from Liuzhou to Sanjiang, and the whole journey took 3.5 hours. After the completion of Liuzhou-Sanjiang Expressway, the direct benefit is to greatly shorten the distance between Sanjiang and Liuzhou. By then, it will only take about 1.5 hours from Sanjiang to Liuzhou, which is nearly two hours shorter than the original.

The expressway was built between Sanjiang and Liuzhou, and the distance from Nanning to Sanjiang was shortened. Before the completion of the Three-North Expressway, Nanning to Sanjiang had to go through two sections, one from Nanning to Liuzhou and the other from Liuzhou to Sanjiang. It takes at least 6 hours from Nanning to Sanjiang by express train. After the expressway between Sanjiang and Liuzhou is completed, Nanning to Sanjiang, Rong 'an and Rongshui can realize the whole high-speed traffic, and Nanning to Sanjiang only takes 4 hours. It is much more convenient for people from Sanjiang, Rong 'an and Rongshui who work in Nanning to go home to visit relatives.

End the history of three counties not being able to access highways.

"After the completion of this expressway, it will effectively improve the backward traffic conditions in the northern part of Liuzhou, which is of great significance for accelerating the economic development of cities, counties and ethnic minority areas along the line." After the expressway is connected, the tourism of the three counties will benefit first. The convenience of transportation will bring more foundation for the development of tourism. The planned Liuzhou-Sanjiang Expressway will be connected with the completed Guilin-Liuzhou Expressway and the planned Guilin-Sanjiang Expressway in 2009, forming a highway loop and forming a "Guangxi Minority Customs Tour" route. Guilin, Longsheng, Sanjiang, Rongshui and Liuzhou on the route will form a whole, which will promote the development and integration of tourist routes in northern Guangxi.

He believes that if Sanjiang to Liuzhou runs through the expressway, Guizhou trucks from southeastern Guizhou can reach Liuzhou through the expressway, and then go straight to Beibu Gulf through Guihai Expressway (Liuzhou to Nanning section of Quannan Expressway up to 20 15, and then transfer to Nanning to Beihai section of Lanhai Expressway).
