Mashan scenic spot

There are steep cliffs on the mountain, towering old trees, dense forests and beautiful scenery. There are ancient buildings built in the Spring and Autumn Period, Tang Dynasty, Song Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty. Dongpo has a large plant slogan "Long live Chairman Mao", covering an area of 276.9 mu, which was rated as the largest in the world by kiness. In addition, Mashan's "Feng's Hougong", "Five Springs and Ten Caves" and "Forty-eight Scenes" have attracted countless tourists to linger. The Great Wall of Qi, which is more than 490 years earlier than Qin Changcheng, is surrounded by Mashan, with a length of more than 30 kilometers, which is the longest mileage of the Great Wall of Qi passing through cities and towns. Medicinal material resources are unique. Trichosanthes kirilowii in Mashan is an authentic and precious Chinese herbal medicine recorded in Compendium of Materia Medica. Wild ganoderma lucidum, ginseng, Polygonum multiflorum Thunb., honeysuckle, wild chrysanthemum and Bupleurum are all over the foothills of Mashan Mountain.

Mashan is a prosperous place of ancient Taoism and a scenic spot. It is said that "the victory of Mashan lies at the top of the mountain". There are two mountain gates in the north corner of Mashan Mountain, which open from east to west. These two mountain gates are the only way to climb Mashan from the left and right of the mountain. It is dangerous to hang two mountain gates alone for half a day. Entering the mountain gate, you reach the top of the mountain. There are two pools chiseled on the bluestone at the top of the mountain. Small ones can hold dozens of barrels of water, and big ones can hold hundreds of barrels. It is a Taoist who "drills and stores rainwater for drinkers". Generally speaking, the top of the mountain is less than17m wide and 500m long. At the end of Qing Dynasty, there were Lingguan Temple, Fengshihou Temple, Tianwang Temple, Bell Tower, Houtu Temple and Yuan Jun Temple in Bi Xia from north to south. I wonder when it was built. Now the buildings on the mountain have become ruins, and the traces of the past can no longer be found, but the scenery is still beautiful.

Standing on the ridge of Mashan, you can see Taidai, Lingyan and Wufeng facing each other dozens of miles away. Looking at the foot of the mountain, the peaks are scattered and the weather is myriad. After visiting Mashan in Qing Dynasty, Yong admired the scenery of Mashan and wrote poems praising:

"The road is full of flying flowers, and the jade lotus chisels out the rock.

Birds sing in a clear spring, and people immediately climb the first peak. "

There is a Tongming Cave under the rut peak, which runs through the east and west, about 1.5 km long, and it is rugged and difficult to walk. At the corner on the west side of Mashan, Laomaquan Courtyard, also called Mawan Temple, to the north of Tongming Cave, was once the residence of Taoist priests. In the early days of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the anti-Japanese guerrillas in Changqing County were established and stationed here, and they grew up here. Therefore, Mashan is one of the birthplaces of anti-Japanese guerrillas in Dafeng Mountain. Mashan is not only a scenic tourist attraction, but also a revolutionary memorial hall worth remembering.
