Forty-fifth public security organs, state security organs and military organs may, within the scope of their duties, take technical reconnaissance measures after strict examination and approval procedures in accordance with relevant state regulations.

The materials obtained in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph can only be used for counter-terrorism, investigation, prosecution and trial of terrorist activities and extremist crimes, and shall not be used for other purposes.

Article 46 The relevant departments shall, according to the requirements of the National Counter-Terrorism Intelligence Center, provide timely information obtained in the security work specified in Chapter III of this Law.

Article 47 The national anti-terrorism intelligence center, local anti-terrorism leading bodies, public security organs and other relevant departments shall screen, judge, verify and monitor relevant intelligence information. If it is considered that there is a danger of terrorist incidents and it is necessary to take corresponding safety precautions and response measures, it shall promptly notify the relevant departments and units, and may issue an early warning according to the situation.

Relevant departments and units should do a good job in safety prevention and response according to the notification. Article 150 After putting a case on file, the public security organ may, according to the needs of investigating crimes and through strict approval procedures, take technical investigation measures against crimes endangering national security, terrorist activities, organized crimes of underworld nature, major drug crimes or other crimes seriously endangering society.

After filing a case, the people's procuratorate may, according to the needs of investigating crimes and through strict approval procedures, take technical investigation measures and hand them over to the relevant authorities for execution in accordance with regulations.
