I'll teach you how to get the sound file out.

1, download a game sound extraction tool MPQWorkshop, link:/thread-234-1-kloc-0/.html, the file is not big, only more than 700k, so it is unnecessary to install.

2. Start MPQWorkshop.exe and select "File-Open -brood" to view the StarDat.mpq file in the interstellar folder (inside brood).

3. Select the prompt box that pops up when opening the StarDat.mpq file, select starcraft-brodwar.txt in it, and click "Use the selected list file".

4. Select the sound from the list opened on the left. MISC, Protoss, Terran, Zerg and other folders are all here. All sound files, wav types, are here.

5. Find the sound file you want, and right-click and select "Decompress".
