When is the sea closure period in Hainan?

According to the "Implementation Plan for Fishing Closed in Summer in Hainan Province in 2022" recently issued by the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Hainan will implement fishing closed from May 1 day 12 to August 16 12. Fishing in the East China Sea and South China Sea (including Beibu Gulf) ranges from 26 degrees 30 minutes north latitude to 0/2 degrees north latitude. During the fishing moratorium, Hainan Province will strictly implement the system of fishing moratorium at the port of registry, and it is strictly forbidden for fishing boats to suspend fishing across provinces. All fishing boats should, in principle, return to the port and wharf where the fishing boat's port of registry is located, and shall not leave the port or change berths without authorization during the fishing moratorium.
