It is obvious that they are just a few steps away from the crosswalk, but some people choose to walk through the busy traffic just to get closer to these few steps. First, improve transportation facilities. Judging from existing experience, complete and good transportation facilities can effectively improve the traffic safety awareness of traffic participants. In 2002, we combined the work requirements of the Party Committee of the Urumqi Public Security Bureau and the spirit of Director Wang Jiao’s instructions on greatly improving the current traffic order in our city in a short period of time. The comprehensive evaluation of our city's "smooth traffic project" has reached the national level four, but the existing traffic facilities and traffic signs are far from meeting the standard requirements, and the traffic management equipment is outdated. Second, improve the overall quality of the traffic police team. As managers of traffic order, the quality of traffic policemen plays a decisive role in the safety awareness of traffic participants.
