Introduction to the work:

Robinson Crusoe is a novel by daniel defoe in England. It mainly tells the story that the hero was killed at sea, drifted to an uninhabited island, insisted on living on the island and finally returned to the primitive society.

About the author:

Daniel defoe (1660-1731)-among the four famous British novelists in the18th century, Defoe ranked first (the other three were jonathan swift, Richardson and henry fielding respectively) and was known as "the father of English and European novels". Defoe was born in a family of oil candle merchants in London. When he was young, he was a successful businessman. While doing business, he also engaged in political activities, published a large number of political pamphlets on behalf of the emerging bourgeoisie at that time, and was arrested for this. Defoe didn't start writing novels until his later years. He was 59 years old when he wrote Robinson Crusoe. Since then, he has created novels such as Captain singleton, Captain Jack and Moore Flanders, which have played a great role in the development of British and European novels.
