Joke Collection Website - News headlines - The new version of the Korean Central News Agency
The new version of the Korean Central News Agency
On January 4, 2013, the website of the Korean Central News Agency was completely redesigned. This revision can be said to have a completely new look, and its appearance and functions are closer to those of mainstream websites in Western countries: the main columns are at the top, important news headlines are scrolling, the news is divided by columns, and there are "latest pictures" and "latest videos" at the bottom of the homepage.
The homepage of the website is based on red and blue, the colors of the North Korean flag, with picture news at the top, presented in a group of pictures, which is intuitive and eye-catching. The photo news content covers North Korea's politics, economy, culture, science and technology, education and health, sports, literature and art, North Korea's international relations, etc. It is worth mentioning that the middle position of the group picture was designed as a dynamic picture: the North Korean flag is flying next to the Tianchi Lake of Paektusan, the sacred site of the North Korean revolution, and the words "2012" appear immediately, demonstrating the North Korean people's recognition of their "opening up a powerful country" in 2012. We are proud of our achievements this year.
The KCNA official website*** has four foreign language versions including Chinese, English, Spanish and Japanese. The middle part of the homepage is divided into two major sections: the left and right sections. The left section, in order from top to bottom, contains four major topics: "Kim Jong-un's revolutionary activities", "DPRK-China relations", "Main news", and "Peace on the Korean Peninsula"; The sections on the right, from top to bottom, include four topics: "First Anniversary of the Death of Kim Jong Il", "Society - Life", "Tourist Attractions", and "Links". Among them, the "Links" topic includes links to four North Korean websites: "Our Nation Ourselves", "Rodong Sinmun", "Voice of North Korea" and "My Motherland". At the end of the homepage are scrolling pictures and scrolling videos.
According to a North Korea analyst, the revamp of the KCNA website will compete with South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency, which is also a national news agency. "The outside world will soon begin to seriously compare the two sites."
The old version of the website has the navigation bar of Kim Il-sung, Kim Jong-il, and Kim Jong-un, as well as slogans attacking South Korea
The top of the old version of the homepage originally had Kim Il-sung, Kim Jong-il, and Kim Jong-un's navigation bar includes five sections: "Kim Jong-un's revolutionary activities", "Kim Jong-il's revolutionary activities", "Kim Il-sung's works", "Kim Jong-il's works", and "Kim Il-sung's memoirs".
The new version has canceled this navigation bar. The top of the news area is the topic "Kim Jong-un's revolutionary activities", and the news topic on the first anniversary of Kim Jong-il's death is retained on the right side. There is no special report on Kim Il-sung on the home page.
Slogans of the old website Slogans of the old website
Slogans attacking the United States and South Korea often appear on the homepage of the old version. The location and content of the slogans occasionally change. For example, in July 2012, the slogan appeared below the navigation bar. Use White text on a black background: “Cut off Lee Myung-bak’s rat group! "A violent revenge attack on Lee Myung-bak's rat group!" "The slogan in November appeared below the text of the report: "The US emperor and Lee Myung-bak's traitor group should not act rashly."
There is currently no such setting in the new homepage and news page, but it may be done at some point in the future. Rejoin for a period of time.
