Characteristics of Wengyuan Middle School

One of the characteristics: Yude's "five schools". With the aim of "paying attention to every student's progress and encouraging every student's success", we have established "five schools" in schools according to the educational characteristics of different students and starting with hierarchical education, namely * * * Youth League School, Youth Party School, Student Cadre School, Hope School and Parents School. By formulating the articles of association, the work of the "five schools" has rules to follow and evidence to follow; Establish an organization and form a command system and a working system; Set up school-based courses and carry out various activities in a planned way to realize the close combination of theory and practice. According to the specific reality of students, we should take corresponding educational guidance to make students succeed. After 10 years of hard practice and unremitting exploration, the construction of "five schools" has achieved gratifying results: * * League schools and youth party schools have developed a large number of league members and party member, which has enhanced the cohesion and centripetal force of party organizations, and the party building has led the league construction and played the role of a fighting fortress for party organizations; Student cadre schools have cultivated students' comprehensive quality and self-care ability, and trained a group of campus elites with excellent academic performance; I hope that the school will build a ladder of success for underachievers, so that underachievers can have a successful experience; Home-school promotes home-school cooperation and interaction, and promotes the development of school education and family education. In June, 2003, People's Daily and Shaoguan Daily reported on the construction of "five schools" in our college respectively.

The second feature: environmental education. We take environmental education as the channel to cultivate students' sense of social responsibility, and stimulate students' enthusiasm for caring for people's livelihood and serving the society with the scientific view of the development of man and nature. Carry out environmental education and adhere to the "five combinations", that is, environmental education pays attention to society and is closely integrated with Wengyuan's social and economic development; Environmental protection education is closely combined with improving students' moral quality; Environmental protection education is closely integrated with the implementation of the new curriculum in senior high schools; Combine environmental protection education with the construction of school teachers' morality; Environmental protection education is closely integrated with students' development. Create a strong environmental protection atmosphere by opening columns, posting slogans and organizing the selection of environmental protection slogans; Establish environmental protection institutions and environmental education organizations to ensure the normal and orderly development of environmental education; Usually, subject teaching pays attention to infiltration, offering special lectures suitable for students, and carrying out a series of activities such as removing white garbage, environmental investigation and environmental protection knowledge competition. All teachers and students are increasingly aware of environmental protection, paying attention to people's livelihood and serving the society, which has become a common practice. Members of the school environmental protection bureau found in social investigation that the wastewater pollution in Shangba village in Xinjiang is serious and harmful to people's health. Secretary Shen Yanquan, a representative of our provincial people's congress, submitted a proposal to the provincial people's congress to control the wastewater pollution in Shangba Village, which attracted great attention from leaders at all levels. The completion of the Shangba Reservoir project with an investment of/kloc-0.4 million yuan has solved the long-standing problem that has plagued the villagers of Shangba for 36 years, and many news media such as CCTV and People's Daily have reported it one after another. The Food Safety Legislation Bill became the first motion at the Fourth Session of the Tenth Provincial People's Congress, which once again aroused widespread concern in society. Now, the Regulations on Food Safety in Guangdong Province will be promulgated soon. According to incomplete statistics, there are more than 50 reports on environmental protection in our school.

The third feature: mental health education. Our school takes the station attendant as the fulcrum, mental health education as the breakthrough point, and promotes moral education with mental health education.

① Improve facilities and form a team. Establish a station agent, set up a heart room, a heart room, a relaxation room and a team activity room to provide students with a good place to adjust their mentality; Set up a psychological consultation mailbox, open a consultation telephone, set up a psychological consultation web page, relax online, and untie the knot in students' hearts; Improve the computer and other office equipment, enrich the professional information of psychological counseling, equip full-time and part-time teachers (including full-time teachers 1 person, 3 part-time teachers, 3 B certificates and 3 C certificates 1 person), and establish three teams: counseling team, subject teachers team and student backbone team to jointly carry out mental health education and realize the transformation of mental health education mode.

Open a "psychological clinic", carry out "one-on-one, face-to-face spiritual exchanges, organize students to carry out psychological mutual assistance activities, be closer to the reality of students, and let students get out of psychological difficulties and get rid of psychological troubles; Hold lectures on mental health knowledge for all students regularly, so that students can develop psychologically healthily and have beautiful hearts.

Hold regular parent-teacher conferences for grades, clarify the purpose and tasks of family education, hold lectures on family education, invite outstanding parents to introduce their experiences, and constantly improve the methods and effects of family education.

The construction of station brokers not only plays a role in cultivating students' sound personality and good personality quality, but also has a great influence and demonstration role in this area. In 2004, the article "Innovating mental health education and cultivating students' sound personality" written by our school was recommended to speak at the city's moral education exchange meeting and won unanimous praise.

Based on the profound cultural accumulation of Wengyuan 1000 years, our school earnestly absorbs the rich nutrition of local culture, further inherits, promotes and develops Baquan cultural resources, promotes school cultural management, builds high-grade campus culture, builds Baquan Cultural Park, develops a beautiful life with "double beauty" as the core, and explores the interaction of spiritual source, material source, information source, energy source and vitality source to revitalize it. Five major cultural construction projects, namely, concept culture, material culture, curriculum culture, system culture and art culture, run through the whole process of school work, promoting the deep development of the school and cultivating and bringing up sound modern people.
