Where do you put the object? What is the predicate and where is it put?

The object usually comes after the verb. Predicates are used to describe the identity, nature, character, characteristics and state of the subject. Predicates are usually served by nouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositional phrases, verb ing forms, infinitives and clauses, and are usually located in conjunctions.

There are direct objects and indirect objects. The direct object refers to the direct object of the action, and the indirect object indicates that the action is indirect, but generally speaking, the object affected by the action must have at least one object after the transitive verb, usually the direct object, and some transitive verbs need two objects.

Object usage

The object is usually used after the transitive verb to indicate the object involved in the action verb.

1, noun as object

Please show me your passport. Please show me your passport.

2. Pronouns as objects

She didn't say anything. She didn't say anything. (In this case, indefinite pronouns)

3. Numbers as objects

How much do you want? I want two. How much do you want? I want two.
