Maybe it's because of my personality. I've never liked the same life.

After graduating from college, many students entered the enterprises and institutions in the town under the arrangement of their parents. They don't have to worry about their livelihood. Most of them bought houses and cars. They just need to get married step by step, have children, drink tea and read newspapers, but I gave up my comfort and chose to join the North drift army as soon as I graduated.

I have just come to Beijing for two years, and I live in a partitioned room of less than five square meters. I work hard and earn more than two thousand yuan a month. When my mother came to Beijing to see me, she said, why don't you come back and take an exam as an editor? I have a stable job and two fixed holidays a year. I waved my hand again and again and refused. In my opinion, teachers and bus drivers are decades old, nothing new. I can often see myself in my twenties, forties and fifties, and the life I want is full of challenges and fun. Even if I was poor at first, it couldn't stop my determination to travel to big cities.

Later, with the gradual improvement of my ability, although my monthly salary did not increase much, my family slowly accepted the fact that I was determined to work hard in Beijing.

I am used to making some plans and goals for myself at the beginning of each year, and setting one or two dreams that can be realized through hard work. At the end of the year, I look back at this year and see what I have gained and changed. If I am no different from myself at the beginning of the year, I will feel scared. So in order to spend every year with peace of mind, I will try my best to make my year colorful, so I will wander between planning and review year after year.

Nietzsche has a saying that I quite agree with. He said, you might as well be bold about life, because we will lose it eventually. Yes, life is alive, if every step is arranged by parents, if every decision is just to satisfy others, what is the meaning of life to yourself?

Many people say that Beijing has severe smog, traffic congestion and fierce competition, and young people have to bear high housing prices. Why did they leave their hometown to abuse in Beijing?

I believe that everything has two sides. If you accept its good side, you have to put up with its bad side. Life in a small town is comfortable, and young people don't have to bear the great pressure of nine to five, but at the same time they have lost many precious opportunities belonging to young people. As the capital of China, Beijing is bound to sacrifice something for the purpose of economic development, but in return, Beijing also has superior resources and development opportunities that small towns do not have.

I prefer Beijing, which needs to stay awake and work hard all the time, to a small town where work and life are very comfortable. This city can make me feel the blood of youth and the beating heart.

There are many job opportunities and entrepreneurial opportunities in Beijing. As long as you have the vision of discovery and are willing to keep trying, the seeds you planted will surely take root and sprout in this hot land and grow into beautiful flowers.

Many people choose a job and will continue to do it, but I am different. I will enrich my career with long-term and short-term plans. I firmly believe that constant trying will bring more possibilities to life. When I just graduated, I joined a foreign trade company to do international sales according to my professional choice. While accumulating industry experience and general skills in the workplace, I also insisted on my hobby writing in my spare time.

If work is to realize self-worth and ensure the quality of life, then hobbies can enrich spare time to the maximum extent and make a person more interesting. Writing has been my favorite thing since high school. At first, I just liked reading magazines like Reader and Youth Digest. Later, I slowly began to have the desire to create, so sometimes I learned to record my life in words and express my feelings when I was young.

Writing is probably my longest-standing hobby, and this hobby will often bring you unexpected surprises when the time is ripe.

After working for more than two years, I am not satisfied with the salary and vision of traditional industries. At that time, I happened to know the position of internet operation, but I had no advantage in competing with people with many years of work experience. Later, some people said that being good at writing is actually your advantage! I was awakened by this sentence and refined my resume according to my own advantages and experience. Fortunately, I received an interview invitation soon. Later, because of my excellent planning ability in the interview, I successfully switched to the Internet industry.

Reading often sees the all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor on school slogans, but after going to the society, you will find that it is easier to succeed if you are good at discovering and carrying forward your own strengths. After changing careers, I quickly adapted to this position because of my advantages such as being good at writing and changeable writing style, but because of my weak industry experience, I still have a lot to learn. Personally, I don't think this is a bad thing. When you know where you are poor, it means that you have a clear direction of learning and promotion, and it is enough to keep supplementing. So at that time, no matter whether my colleagues were older or younger than me, I would ask them questions about entering this industry first and treat everyone with more experience as a teacher and study hard. Time flies, and I grow up quickly. It took me only two years from a monthly salary of over 2,000 to nearly 20,000.

Many people think that it is not easy to work hard in first-tier cities with a monthly salary of over 10,000 yuan. If you continue to work hard and get a step-by-step promotion and salary increase, your life will surely get better and better. This is enough, but I am not satisfied.

My dissatisfaction comes not from my salary, but from my dislike of the unchanging life. Even if there is progress every year and there is a big salary increase every year, I still feel that the growth is not fast enough. Some people say that many of us rely on platforms. Without a platform, you may be nothing.

I'm also thinking about this problem. Although the Internet is the general trend and a sunrise industry, can I live so well if I really leave the platform? If I leave, will it create more possibilities?

After working for five years, I chose to quit my job, left an internet company that could provide me with management positions and generous salary, and became a freelancer.

Talking about freelancing with friends, I said that freelancing is actually like giving up a luxury cruise ship with someone at the helm and choosing a shabby boat to sail alone. The waves on the sea are the same, but giving up the platform means that you should learn to take on a variety of roles, such as the captain who masters the navigation direction, such as the crew who sells coolies, and maintain good relations with other ships, so that you can know the waves and rainbows on the sea in time. Choosing freelancing means that you must be as lonely as a team.

After becoming a freelancer, my first step is to plan my income. I don't want to earn much money, but I need to ensure that my social security in Beijing remains unchanged. In addition, I need to ensure that my income meets my basic needs. So I set myself an income target, and then pushed the plan back. In order to achieve my goal, gradually promote and break through, I divided my income sources into several projects.

First of all, I need to sort out my advantages and list all available resources.

Secondly, I need to combine the two to produce marketable knowledge services or products.

Finally, I want to sum up while doing it in constant practice, because you never know where there are pits and where you can improve better without doing a lot of things.

In the process of doing freelance work, I deeply realized the importance of self-discipline. Because when you are no longer urged to punch in at work, you can wake up naturally every day and relax easily, so I make a daily schedule for myself and do something regularly at certain times of the day. After a long time, these things become very ceremonial, such as daily reading, daily fitness and so on. Moreover, the project has been polished more and more perfect over time, the user satisfaction has improved, and the income has naturally increased.

I am glad that I still have curiosity about the world and society after working for several years, and I am glad that I am willing to keep trying, even if I fail.
