The case is Xu, male, 53 years old, a construction worker at the Fangcai Hospital in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou City. On November 20, 2022, I drove with my son from Shenzhen City back to Longwo Town, Zijin County, and passed through the Lantang Service Area to refuel and use the toilet. After arriving in Longwo Town, he went to Qiaotou, Likeng Village, Qiankeng Village and other places to have dinner with friends, check in the home to check the decoration, negotiate business, etc. He stayed at a relative's house on the night of the 20th; he did not travel on the 21st and was picked up at around 6 a.m. He called the Shenzhen epidemic prevention department and said that he and his son were determined to be close contacts of a certain case in Shenzhen. They waited directly at a relative's house for staff to come to manage them and then transferred him to a centralized isolation point. At noon on the 21st, samples were taken for nucleic acid testing at the centralized isolation point, and the result was positive. After re-examination by the city and county disease control departments, the result was positive and he was immediately transferred to a designated medical institution. Currently, Xu is being treated in the isolation ward of a designated hospital in Heyuan City. It is reported that the Zijin County Police Department has determined that 37 close contacts have been placed under centralized isolation and medical observation. The nucleic acid test results were all negative, and the six key places involved have been fully terminally disinfected.
