There are several detachments in the Yunnan Forest Fire Corps

The Yunnan Provincial Emergency Fire and Rescue Corps has 18 detachments and 146 brigades. The Yunnan Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps Comprehensive Emergency Rescue Mobile Detachment was established in accordance with the requirements of the Fire and Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Emergency Management. It is a "based on the province" , radiating surrounding areas, expanding functions, combining peacetime and wartime, rapid response, mobile and efficient" comprehensive emergency rescue mobile force, undertaking cross-regional rescue missions for major disasters and accidents inside and outside the province, including 1 heavy geological disaster rescue team and 1 heavy engineering machinery Rescue brigade, 1 combat support brigade, 1 water rescue brigade, 1 mountain rescue brigade and 1 search and rescue dog search and rescue brigade. The Yunnan Provincial Forest Fire Corps was formerly the airborne detachment directly under the Ministry of Forestry adapted from the 15th Airborne Corps. In December 1993, it was transferred from Daxinganling, Heilongjiang to Yunnan. In October 1996, it was expanded into a corps. In February 1999, it was transferred to the Armed Police Force. In 2018 In October, it was transferred to the National Emergency Management Department. It currently has 5 detachments, 2 directly affiliated brigades and 1 training brigade. In the 26 years since it entered Yunnan, the Corps has mobilized more than 500,000 troops and successfully completed more than 3,600 forest fire fights, more than 14,000 duty operations and 179 rescue and rescue missions. In recent years, we have put out an average of 142 fires per year, with a maximum of 281 fires a year, a maximum of 35 fires a week, a maximum of 13 fires a day, and a maximum of 66 consecutive days and nights, with a maximum distance of nearly 10,000 miles to reinforce Heilongjiang Province.
