Time and place of Chengdu Universiade

The Chengdu Universiade will be held from July 28th to August 8th, 2023. The main venue is Dongan Lake Sports Park.

3 1 Universiade is the third Universiade held in Chinese mainland after 200 1 Beijing Universiade and 20 165438 Shenzhen Universiade, and the first comprehensive world games held in western China. By then, more than 10000 athletes and officials from about 170 countries and regions will come to Rong to participate in the competition.

There are 49 competition and training venues for the Chengdu Universiade, including Dong 'an Lake Sports Park as the main venue and Phoenix Mountain Sports Park as the core venue 13 newly-built venues, and 36 venues including Sichuan Gymnasium and West China Campus Gymnasium of Sichuan University have been upgraded.

These events are:

Basketball, volleyball, track and field, swimming and other sports 18. Among them, track and field, gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, diving, swimming, archery, fencing, badminton, table tennis, tennis, judo, taekwondo, basketball, volleyball and water polo are all required 15, and martial arts, rowing and shooting are all available.
