Real objects of the Anti-Japanese War:
The Jianchuan Museum reproduces the anti-Japanese battlefield through cultural relics, pictures, and historical materials. The museum is divided into three units: The first unit is the origin of the Anti-Japanese War, which briefly introduces the history of the Kuomintang government from 1931 to 1937, from avoiding the war to resisting the war, focusing on the local resistance war of some patriotic generals of the Kuomintang. The second unit, the frontal battlefield, mainly displays the twenty-two major battles of the Kuomintang army in the War of Resistance Against Japan, truly recreating the showdown between the Chinese and Japanese armies. The third unit defended the enemy in the air. Since the air force was very weak at the time, the air battlefield was also extremely difficult and cruel, so it performed as a single unit.
The Chinese nation’s War of Resistance Against Japan was a war of national liberation under the banner of the Anti-Japanese National United Front advocated by the Communist Party of China and based on the cooperation of the Kuomintang. It always has two battlefields, namely the battlefield behind enemy lines in the war against Japan led by the Communist Party and the frontal battlefield in the war against Japan led by the Kuomintang. The two battlefields cooperated and supported each other in this national war of resistance, made arduous efforts and paid huge sacrifices, and finally achieved the great victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan. The Anti-Japanese War on the frontal battlefield, the Anti-Japanese War in the base areas behind enemy lines, and the spontaneous anti-Japanese struggle of the people all reflected the indomitable fighting spirit of the Chinese nation to resist foreign humiliation. The spirit of those patriotic soldiers of the Kuomintang who heroically sacrificed their lives for national independence on the frontal battlefield is still admired today.
