Fire prevention regulations for acid battery room

1 Smoking and bringing any kindling into the battery room are strictly prohibited. The slogan "Battery room", "No fireworks" or "Fire danger, no kindling" should be written in red paint on the door of the battery room.

2 The battery room can be equipped with a heating device welded with the whole pipeline, and it is forbidden to use open flame for heating.

3 the battery should be installed in a separate room. the open battery room should be separated from the adjacent room by fire-resistant class ii and class b production buildings, and the acid-proof and explosion-proof battery room should be separated from the adjacent room by fire-resistant class ii and class c production buildings. The battery compartment door should be opened outwards.

4 the battery room should be equipped with ventilation device, and the ventilation duct should be set separately, which should not lead to the flue or the general ventilation system in the factory building. When there is a place for detonating substances within 1M (including 1M) from the outlet of the ventilation pipe, the outlet of the ventilation pipe should be at least 2M higher than the roof of the building.

5 explosion-proof lighting and explosion-proof exhaust fan should be used in the battery room, and switches, fuses and sockets should be installed outside the battery room.

6 All cables and wires entering and leaving the battery room should be threaded with acid-resistant porcelain pipes or PVC hard pipes at the wall, and the nozzles at the import and export ends should be blocked with acid-resistant materials.

7 when the battery room is threatened by external fire, the charging should be stopped immediately. if the charging is just finished, the exhaust fan should be turned on to extract the indoor harmful gas.

8 in case of fire in the storage battery room, stop charging immediately and put it out with "1211" or carbon dioxide fire extinguisher.

9 when there is a fire near the electrical equipment of the battery room ventilation device or the air inlet of the battery room, the power supply of the equipment should be cut off immediately.
