Global warming is a "natural phenomenon." Various greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide are produced when people burn fossil minerals to generate energy or cut down forests and burn them. Since these greenhouse gases are highly transparent to visible light from solar radiation, they are highly transparent to the long-wave radiation reflected from the earth. It is highly absorptive and can strongly absorb infrared rays from ground radiation, which is often called the "greenhouse effect" and leads to global warming. The consequences of global warming will redistribute global precipitation, melt glaciers and permafrost, and raise sea levels, which not only endangers the balance of natural ecosystems, but also threatens human food supply and living environment.

Global warming refers to the phenomenon that the temperature of the earth's atmosphere and oceans rises over a period of time, mainly referring to the temperature rise caused by human factors. Currently, it is believed worldwide that the main reason is probably due to excessive emissions of greenhouse gases (representing the gas carbon dioxide). In the past 100 years, the global average temperature has experienced four fluctuations: cold → warm → cold → warm. Generally speaking, the temperature is on an upward trend. After entering the 1980s, global temperatures have increased significantly. The system of the global atmosphere and the surface is like a huge "glass greenhouse", which maintains a certain temperature on the surface and creates an environment suitable for the survival of humans and other organisms. In this system, the atmosphere not only allows solar radiation to pass through and reach the ground, but also prevents ground radiation from dissipating. We call this protective effect of the atmosphere on the ground the greenhouse effect of the atmosphere. The gases that cause the greenhouse effect are called "greenhouse gases". They allow the sun's shortwave radiation to pass freely while absorbing the longwave radiation emitted by the earth's surface. The most important of them is carbon dioxide. The global climate has been gradually warming in the past century, and at the same time, the content of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere has also increased dramatically. Many scientists believe that the intensification of the greenhouse effect caused by massive emissions of greenhouse gases is the basic cause of global warming. Humans burn coal, oil, natural gas and trees, producing large amounts of carbon dioxide and methane that enter the atmosphere and heat up the earth, unbalancing the carbon cycle and changing the energy conversion form of the earth's biosphere. The amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has increased by 25% since the Industrial Revolution, far more than the entire past 160,000 years that scientists have been able to detect, and there are currently no signs of slowing down. The increase in carbon dioxide emissions in the atmosphere is the root cause of global climate warming. A survey by the International Energy Agency shows that the United States, China, Russia and Japan account for almost half of the global total carbon dioxide emissions. Surveys show that the United States ranks first in carbon dioxide emissions in the world, with annual per capita carbon dioxide emissions of approximately 20 tons, accounting for 23.7% of the global total. China’s annual per capita carbon dioxide emissions are approximately 2.51 tons, accounting for approximately 13.9% of the global total.
