Everyone knows the harm of smoking to health, but putting it into concrete action has little effect. To this end, we take different publicity and education measures for different targets. The specific method is:

1, faculty:

Three years ago, we conducted tobacco control education. Take advantage of teachers' political learning opportunities to display cigarette butts collected by students during campus cleaning, so as to standardize the smoking behavior of faculty and staff and prevent the occurrence of "stray cigarettes". Then, further carry out education on tobacco control and smoking ban, publicize the impact and harm of smoking on health and the benefits of quitting smoking, further improve the smoking control ability of faculty and staff, and make them gradually develop the habit of not smoking.

2. Students:

Make full use of health education classes, team activities, theme class meetings, blackboard newspapers, radio and other forms to educate students that smoking is harmful to health, improve students' knowledge of tobacco control, cultivate students' non-smoking behavior habits, and enhance their awareness and ability of self-care.

3. Social family:

The school actively cooperates with parents, and actively publicizes the scientific knowledge that smoking is harmful to health and the relevant national laws and regulations on tobacco control by means of parent-teacher conferences and parent-teacher conferences, and advocates students to persuade parents to quit smoking and ban smoking. At the same time, the school issued a "Letter to Parents" to publicize the dangers of smoking and the measures to ban smoking in schools, and advised parents to ban smoking and quit smoking. Set an example for educating students to develop good behavior habits.

Third, leaders attach importance to and improve the system.

The school set up a leading group for tobacco control headed by President Bo Xingce, and appointed Vice President Meng Weiguang to be responsible for its implementation. Each group (room) is a member of the leading group for tobacco control, and is responsible for the publicity, supervision and inspection of each group (room). At the same time, establish strict rules and regulations to ensure the effective development of tobacco control work.

Tobacco control is a systematic project and a long-term and arduous task. Non-smokers may join the ranks of smokers, and those who have given up smoking may smoke again. In the future, the smoking ban and control work in our school will shift to the goal of "preventing relapse, rebound and growth", and strive to build our school into a "smoke-free school" as soon as possible.
