The military song of China People's Liberation Army Air Force was formally promulgated by the Political Department of the Air Force on August 23rd, 1989/kloc-0 after being deliberated by the Party Committee of the Air Force, and became the military song of China People's Liberation Army Air Force.

The China Communist Party has long attached importance to the development of aviation. Under the extremely difficult conditions in the revolutionary war years, a group of aviation technical talents were trained and reserved. During the Great Revolution, party member was selected to study in the Aviation School of the National Revolutionary Army.
