Gas station operators who violate the relevant provisions of these measures shall be punished according to the following provisions:

(1) Those who violate the provisions of Item (3) of Article 5 of these measures shall be ordered to make corrections and may be fined in 1 yuan.

(2) Whoever, in violation of the provisions of Item (4) of Article 5 of these Measures, uses measuring instruments with incomplete license marks, serial numbers and ex-factory product certificates or without verification certificates for imported measuring instruments shall be ordered to stop using them, and all illegal gains shall be confiscated.

a fine of less than 2, yuan may be imposed. If the fuel tanker is put into use without being reported to the legal metrological verification institution authorized by the quality and technical supervision department for compulsory verification, it shall be ordered to stop using it.

(5) Whoever, in violation of the provisions of Item (7) of Article 5 of these Measures, uses measuring instruments that have not been verified, exceed the verification period or fail to pass the verification, shall be ordered to stop using them, and may also be fined up to 1 yuan.
