Starting from Xining, go to Sun Moon Mountain first, and there are two roads to choose from.

To the west, it will pass through Huangyuan County. The ancient cities of Tangar and Zan Brinca are two major scenic spots in the county. Go south and pass Ta 'er Temple and Laki Mountain. At Riyue Mountain Pass, the roads in two directions meet, and the Xijing Line really begins.

Sun Moon Mountain is the dividing line between the Loess Plateau and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and Princess * * looked at Chang 'an with tears in her eyes. After overlooking Sun Moon Mountain at the pass of Sun Moon Mountain, continue to drive west on the road.

Drive along Xijing Line, at Daotanghe Toll Station, there is a fork in the road, and you can reach Qinghai Lake 30 kilometers northwest. Keep driving until you reach Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, prefecture and county. This section of the road is almost parallel to the expressway. Longyangxia Reservoir, one of the largest water conservancy projects on the Yellow River, is located at the southwest of Hexian County 10 km.

Follow the Xijing line, continue on the road, and then reach the last section of Yushu. * * Jade Expressway is almost the same as the second-class highway, so you can choose to take * * Jade Expressway. This road passes through maduo county, next to Maduo National Park at the source of the Three Rivers. There are many lakes and rivers in Fiona Fang, stretching for dozens of miles. 30 kilometers to the west are Eling Lake and Zhaling Lake, and on the right side of the expressway is the sea of stars.

Continue driving along the valley, the highway is always parallel to the Chaqu River, and at a distance of 0/5km from Yushu County/Kloc-0, it will cross a Tongtian River, which is also the first national park in China-Sanjiangyuan. Located on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, it is the birthplace of the Yellow River, the Yangtze River and the Lancang River, and is rich in snow-capped mountains, wetlands and grassland forest resources.

After crossing the Tongtianhe Tunnel, you will reach Yushu, where you can simply rest and replenish. Dangka Temple, Gajie Ancient Temple and Shijing City around Yushu are all Tibetan Buddhist buildings of various colors, with very strong cultural scenes. After that, the road to Qamdo will pass through many similar cultural relics and historic sites.

Continue on the road, through Yushu Batang Airport, along Zhaqu, through Nangqian County, and on the other side of the river is the site of Xiangdatu. After that, there were many curves on the road, hovering up and down among the mountains. When the highway reached Jiqu, it had already entered Tibet from Qinghai. Entering the first county in Tibet-Leiwuqi County.

To continue eastward to Qamdo, it is necessary to cross the Zhujiao Lashan at an altitude of 4,600, which is a winding mountain road like a chicken intestine and used to be a natural barrier on the Sichuan-Tibet line. With the opening of Zhujiao Lashan Tunnel, the road conditions are much safer.

Walking out of Zhujiao Lashan Tunnel is Zhugu Temple. This place is worth staying. The vast snow-capped mountains in the distance, alpine meadows, forest pastures, temples and historical sites nearby are all rare places to gather beautiful scenery. After crossing Zhugu Temple, you can reach Qamdo City not far away. Changdu city in the valley is relatively low in altitude, suitable for parking and rest, and all kinds of driving supplies can also be bought.

Leave Changdu, drive along the Lancang River, not far from the Karuo site, then drive along the Lancang River Valley next to the Lancang River, pass through Changdu Bonda Airport, and there is a fork in Bonda Town. Drive to the right and turn to Yelashan Daban, which is the famous Nujiang 72 turn. Xijing Line drives left along Yuquan River to Zuogong County. If you are interested, you can drive to the right for a while and have a look.

The journey from Zuogong to Mangkang needs to climb many mountains, up to 4000 meters above sea level. Most of the sections are Panshan Highway. Pay attention to slow down and check the condition of the car in advance. At the pass of Dongdashan Mountain, Jueba Mountain and Lawushan Mountain, the altitude is marked beside the highway, and there are also many slogans such as "I must open 3 18 in my life". Each pass overlooks the surrounding snow-covered mountains.

When you arrive in Mangkang County, you can see the snow-capped mountains of Delta Air Lines in Mangkang County. Mangkang's focus is not on snow-capped mountains, but on saltworks. Keep driving for 90 kilometers. When the highway meets Lancang River again, Mangkang Yantian is on the bank of Lancang River. Although it is in Tibet, Naxi people have lived in Mangkang Yantian for generations. In the old society, men went out to make a living as caravans on the ancient tea-horse road, while women stayed in the village to make salt. For generations, women have been making salt in Yantian.

Continue to drive along the Lancang River, the mountains on both sides are getting higher and higher, and the valleys are getting deeper and deeper. After crossing the Lancang Grand Canyon, you enter Yunnan. When you enter Yunnan, the first thing you see is the back of Meili Snow Mountain. Drive along the expressway to Feilai Temple, where you can spend the night and wait for the sunrise tomorrow to see if you want to see Rizhao Jinshan in Meili Snow Mountain.

Continue to go south, and many snow-capped mountains in Yunnan will appear in the field of vision. The first is Baima Snow Mountain, which is the secret hiding place of Yunnan golden monkey. You can directly pass through the tunnel under the snow-capped mountains, and you can also take the old Panshan Road to enjoy the magnificent scenery of Baima Snow Mountain in summer.

When you meet the Jinsha River on the highway, the observation deck of the Jinsha River here is worth staying. Overlooking the Jinsha River, it flows in the U-shaped valley.

Drive along the Jinsha River for a while and enter Shangri-La from Napahai. This is the key foothold. On the one hand, it is a kind of charging and rest. On the other hand, there are too many scenic spots worth punching in. Songzanlin Temple, Dukezong, Shika Snow Mountain, Blue Moon Valley and Pudacuo are all popular attractions.

The road from Shangri-La to Lijiang is also a collection of scenic spots. Baishuitai, Haba Snow Mountain, Tiger Leaping Gorge, the back of Yulong Snow Mountain and the First Bay of the Yangtze River are all on this 100 km western landscape.

Depart from Lijiang, follow the Xijing Line, and reach Dali via Jianchuan and Eryuan. On the road, we pass Jianhu Lake, the second section of Zibi Lake and Dali West Lake, all of which are plateau protected wetlands. If you have enough time, you can also go to Shaxi Ancient Town.

After this section of Dali, the Xijing Line reached the west bank of Erhai Lake. Xizhou, Zhoucheng, Santai and Dali ancient city at the foot of Cangshan Mountain will pass by, with Cangshan Mountain on one side and Erhai Lake on the other. Stop to rest, listen to folk songs in Dali bar at night, drink a bottle of romantic love, and continue on the road the next day.

Depart from Shimonoseki and arrive in Lincang via Midu County, Nanjian County and Yunxian County. Further south, it is a county town with a long name-lahu-va-blang-dai autonomous county of shuangjiang. If you want to eat Wa food, you need to finish it in Lincang, and the following sections will rarely pass through Wa inhabited areas.

Continue to the south and enter Pu 'er City, Lancang Lahu Autonomous County, a county town where Lahu people live in compact communities. There are sculptures of Sanxian and Hulusheng in the city, and the sounds of these instruments can also be heard. "Happy Lahu" has been sung for many years, and "Mupapa" has been passed down to this day.

Continue on the road and arrive at Menghai County, Xishuangbanna via Jingmai Mountain. Jingmai Mountain is inhabited by ethnic minority villages such as Lahu, Bulang and Dai, and has been collecting and making tea for generations. Menghai County is only 40 kilometers away from Rhoda Port. If you keep driving 1 hour, you can reach the end of this line-Jinghong City, the core of Xishuangbanna. The tropical rain forest, Dai customs and nightlife of Lancang River are very attractive.
