What pigment can be applied to clothes and won't wash off?

Acrylic pigments, textile pigments and marking strokes can't be washed off on clothes.

1, propylene pigment

Propylene pigment is a kind of painting pigment, which is a dispersed pigment made by dissolving polymethyl methacrylate (see acrylic resin) in mineral oil. Sometimes they are called pure propylene pigments or plastic pigments to distinguish them from polymeric pigments made of propylene and other water-soluble resins.

Features: long durability, the colored layer will quickly lose its solubility after drying, and at the same time, it will form a tough, elastic and impermeable film. This kind of film is similar to rubber, and the propylene film will never be brittle and theoretically will never turn yellow. Generally speaking, the dried propylene pigment cannot be removed from the solid surface if the connection is tight. Water and mild solvent will not dissolve propylene again.

2. Textile pigments

Textile pigments are specially used for screen printing of fiber cloth. Generally speaking, 150℃ is baked for about 5 minutes, and can be washed after 24 hours. Painting on hand-painted clothes has some disadvantages: special blending agent should be used to blend pigments, and iron should be used to heat and bake at high temperature.

Features: both textile pigments and propylene pigments have professional seasonings, and seasonings are liquids used to prepare pigments. The characteristics of seasoning can keep the characteristics of pigment, strengthen the firmness of pigment on clothes and alleviate the time when pigment dries up.

Textile pigments must use seasonings, and their pigment adhesion is not as good as propylene pigments. In order to keep the pigment on clothes longer, textile seasonings must be used.

It doesn't make much difference whether the propylene pigment is seasoned or not. It is feasible to use a small amount of water instead of seasoning. Of course, if you want to make the propylene pigment lighter, you can also use seasoning to delay the drying time.

Step 3 mark

Marker pen (English: marker pen or marker pen), also known as marker pen. It is a drawing color pen specially used for writing or painting. It contains ink and usually has a pen cover, usually with a hard and soft nib.

The pigment of marker pen is volatile and can be used for quick drawing at one time. It is often used to design articles, advertising slogans, posters or other artistic creations. Markers are divided into oily markers, alcohol markers and water-based markers according to ink.

Features: oily marker is quick-drying, water-resistant and light-resistant. Alcohol marker pen can write on any smooth surface, which is quick-drying, waterproof and environmentally friendly, and can be used for drawing, writing, marking, POP advertising, etc.

Water-based marker is bright and transparent, but it will turn gray after repeated color superposition, which is easy to damage the paper. Also, if you use a pen dipped in water, the effect is very similar to watercolor, and some water-based markers will be waterproof after drying.

Extended data

Matters needing attention in the use of propylene pigment:

If you want to wash off propylene pigment, you can wash it off with mineral alcohol or turpentine. Isopropanol can separate propylene pigment film which is not completely dried. Toluene and acetone can remove pigment film, but they can't remove painting stains well, and they are not selective. The use of solvents will lead to the separation of all pigment layers, including propylene primer and so on.

Oil and warm soapy water can be removed. If the skin is stained with acrylic pigment, it can be removed with oil and warm soapy water. Propylene pigment is toxic, but it will not cause harm to human body. Just be careful not to eat it wrong.
