Brave Blue Guardian on the Road of Peaceful Development

With the constant changes in the international military situation, countries are scrambling to develop national weapons as a symbol of national strength. As a world power, China "is not afraid of it, I will be brave", and Julang -2 developed by China is one of the highlights.

Julang -2(JL-2, NATO code: CSS-NX-4) is China's second-generation intercontinental submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM), designed as a three-stage solid fuel propulsion rocket. The maximum range is 7400- 12000 km, and it can carry a single or 3-6 nuclear warheads. It is an important pole of China's nuclear trinity.

Julang -2 will be deployed on Type 094 nuclear submarines, and each nuclear submarine can carry 12. 2011165438 was successfully tested in Bohai, China on February 30th.

Julang -2 is obviously not a sea-based model of Dongfeng -3 1. They have certain technical origins, but the size of Dongfeng -3 1 can't fit into the narrow 094 submarine. The appearance of Dongfeng 3 1A is obviously different from that of Julang 2 model bomb appearing on TV.

On February 22, 2002 10: 20, the first boat of a strategic missile nuclear submarine was launched in Huludao, Jinxi, a key national defense project. The boat is equipped with 12 submarine strategic missile launcher, which is a key national defense project called "New East Wind Going to Sea", that is, Julang II "B" multi-warhead submarine strategic missile to be delivered to the troops.

The "B" bomb is the last model of the "Julang II" project jointly developed by the First Aerospace Institute and the Second Aerospace Institute. The whole project lasted more than ten years. In the 1990s, Julang II verification bomb and extended-range Julang II "A" bomb were developed successively. In order to establish the capability of secondary nuclear strike and improve the absolute disadvantage of China's nuclear retaliation capability, the National Defense Science and Technology Commission and the Central Military Commission issued the instruction of "New East Wind Going to Sea".

JMA: "B" land-based catapult, which fired 3 shells in Shaanxi in 2006, 5438+0; JMB: "B" sea-based shell, launched by Dalian 2** conventional missile submarine in 2002; Both JMA and JMB were experimental bombs before the finalization of "B bomb", and neither telemetry bomb nor training bomb was launched.

Julang II submarine-launched strategic missile is a submarine-launched strategic missile derived from Dongfeng 3 1 jointly developed by the First Institute and the Second Institute of the Ministry of Space, referred to as Dongfeng Sea Project. Carrying 3-4 thermonuclear warheads with a capacity of 250,000 tons has undergone two major improvements.

The 09-4 strategic missile nuclear submarine is the carrier of Julang II. As can be seen from the photos in service, 09-4 is equipped with 12 launcher.

Compared with the United States, Russia, Britain and France, China's three 094-class nuclear submarines and its Julang -2 missiles are somewhat dwarfed.

Although it is not worth mentioning compared with the underwater nuclear power of the US 14 "Ohio" class nuclear submarine, the Julang -2 missile has a range of 8,000 kilometers, which makes it easy for the Type 094 nuclear submarine to attack Alaska's missile base defense in highly protected waters such as the Yellow Sea. If the Type 094 nuclear submarine sails to the eastern waters of North Korea, it will carry the Julang -2 missile, covering the US Navy's ballistic missile nuclear submarine base in Gisep Island, Washington. This will pose a serious threat to the US missile defense system and underwater nuclear forces.

Taking the road of peaceful development and sustainable development has always been China's firm choice. China adheres to the minimum nuclear deterrent strategy, so there is no need to compare and ensure each other's destructive capacity. The underwater secondary counterattack capability of Julang -2 missile will be combined with the land nuclear strike capability of Dongfeng -3 1 missile to provide China with a small but solid and reliable nuclear umbrella.
