After receiving the alarm, Huang Jianping, then the captain of the Special Service Brigade of Guigang Public Security Fire Brigade, immediately led his comrades to the scene to organize rescue. In the face of the rapidly rising flood and the emergency call for help from the trapped people, Comrade Huang Jianping was fearless in the face of danger, risked his life to forget his death, charged ahead and struggled to save people. When he swam more than 50 meters away, unfortunately, the flood peak that was suddenly hit was caught in the rushing torrent under the pier, and he died heroically at the age of 34.
