In 2022, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mexico, Leona Vicario, a Mexican national hero created by the famous artist Yuan, was placed in the Mexican Embassy in China. Leona Vicario is one of many women who promoted the success of Mexican independence movement, and was awarded the title of "outstanding and beloved national mother".
