Yucha Grand Canyon is located in Zhangjiagou Village, Xiasiwan Town, Ganquan County, Yan'an City, and Wave Valley is located in Longzhou Town, Jingbian County, Yulin City. The distance between the two is a little more than 200 kilometers.

These two attractions are niche attractions that have been discovered by travel enthusiasts in recent years and instantly became popular through self-media. After becoming popular, they were developed by relevant local departments.

The reason why Wave Valley and Ganquan Yucha Grand Canyon became popular quickly is because they look so much like two world-class attractions in the United States. The Wave Valley corresponds to the Wave Valley in the United States, and the Ganquan Yucha Grand Canyon corresponds to the Antelope Canyon in the United States. I went to these two places during the National Day last year. Below, I will give a brief introduction to them respectively.

1. ?Ganquan Yucha Grand Canyon

Ganquan Yucha Grand Canyon is rarely known as China's Antelope Valley. Their slogan is "World's Living Danxia, ??China's Valley of Dreams".

There are seven canyons in the Grand Canyon, namely Huashhugou, Mudangou, Yixiantian, Snakehegou, Fenghuanggou, Huabaogou and Longbagou. Currently only the first three are open.

We went during the National Day, and there were so many people there. The visitor center is in Zhangjiagou Village, Xiasiwan Town. As soon as we arrived at the village, we saw several miles of traffic and could not enter the parking lot.

We stopped on the side road in front of Zhangjiagou Village Committee, waiting for Guixing to enter the scenic parking lot. At this time, a middle-aged man stood in front of our car and gestured like a traffic policeman to direct us to drive to the square in front of the village committee. We looked at him hesitantly and a little uneasily. He became more anxious, and the strength and frequency of his gestures increased, but he just didn't speak. It turned out that he was a deaf mute and could not speak. Through his simple and anxious eyes, we followed him and parked the car in front of the village committee. Thanks to the honest and kind-hearted deaf-mute old man, the place he pointed out to us is really a parking area where we can divert traffic. But as outsiders, we generally don’t dare to believe this kind of thing and worry about being fooled. The old man's advice saved us dozens of minutes of waiting time for the car, and there was no parking fee.

Yucha Grand Canyon does not charge tickets now, but you have to take their scenic transportation bus, which costs 70 yuan. Because there were too many people, the tourist route was divided into Line A and Line B in those days. The scenery of the two lines was different, but the difference was not too big. As a first-timer, I couldn't tell which one was better and which one was worse. We went to the line where it is easier to buy tickets, and it should be the second line.

I won’t talk about the scenery, but look at the photos. If you want to take good photos in Yucha, you have to be lucky. The weather is good and there is sunshine. The photos you take will definitely look like a computer desktop. The best time is noon when the sun is shining directly downwards.

2. Wave Valley

Wave Valley is located in Longzhou Town, Jingbian County, Yulin City. This is known as the Antelope Valley of the United States. To be honest, Wave Valley does not yet have a unified name. Some are called Flame Danxia District, Shuishui Danxia District, and some are called District 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. The current one is more accurate. The method should be the Longzhou Danxia landform. This scenic spot is very large and is divided into several independent areas, all of which have different names.

Currently, Longzhou Danxia Landform is closed, and the No. 1 scenic spot with the best scenery is under closed construction. However, the pilgrim-like influx of tourists from other places caused headaches to the relevant local departments and they were unable to stop them. During the holidays, traffic police, civilian police, and special police were dispatched to stop and divert the tourists. But the local villagers are happy. They open hotels and farmhouses, act as tour guides, solicit customers on the roadside, and charge parking fees on a piece of land. The business is booming.

Tourists visit some of the more beautiful "wild" attractions. Although it is a wild scenic spot, outsiders still cannot enter. There are people blocking it at every intersection. Do you want to go in? Someone must lead the way. The cost of leading the way is 50 yuan per scenic spot. Regardless of the number of people or the number of people, it is only calculated based on the number of times. Take people by your side to sit in your car before your car can go in.

We booked a farm hotel in advance and talked with the owner about food, accommodation, travel and other matters. We visited three attractions and he was responsible for picking up and dropping off.

We went from Yan'an. After arriving at the boss's house, around four or five o'clock, he immediately sent us to a scenic spot. It gives people a very good feeling.

In the evening, he asked for our opinion whether to go to the best scenic spot No. 1 tomorrow. He said that there was construction going on there, and to go there, one had to "lurk" in at four or five o'clock before dawn before the workers went to work. Because the weather there was very cold during the National Day, and we had a child, we didn’t go “lurking”.

At dawn, he sent us to Shuishui Danxia District, showed us the way, and told us to go quickly. If we were late, someone would stop us.

This place is also very good. We were really the first to arrive. When we came out of another place, we found that there was actually a police car blocking the place where we entered in the morning.

Five of us (including one child) stayed in a room and experienced the Datong Kang on the Northern Shaanxi Plateau for one night, which made the child extremely happy. We had two meals, one morning and one night, and took us to three places to play. We paid 600 yuan at the checkout. After leaving, he said he had charged me 20 yuan less for drinks, and I made up for it. That was what we drank in the evening. At dinner time, we asked him if he wanted to drink his home-brewed wine. He gave us a bottle filled with mineral water. It cost 40 yuan a bottle. We said we only wanted half of it, and he let us Drink it yourself and leave half for him. We really only drank half.

In Longzhou Wave Valley, you can not only see magical geographical wonders, but also visit surrounding attractions, such as Jingbian Tongwan City, which is very famous. You can also take a look at Zhenbeitai, which is one of the most grand and majestic buildings in the Ming Dynasty Great Wall ruins. It is one of the three wonders of the Great Wall (Shanhaiguan in the east, Zhenbeitai in the middle, and Jiayuguan in the west).
