Taiyuan University of Technology Experimental Middle School (No.29 Middle School), formerly affiliated to Taiyuan University of Technology, was founded in 1958. The school is located on the west bank of the beautiful Fenhe River, adjacent to Taiyuan University of Technology, Wanbailin District People's Government, Shanxi Science and Technology Department and China Coal Museum, with superior human environment and convenient transportation. The school has 39 classes (20 junior high schools and 9 senior high schools 19), which is a municipal public full-time complete middle school.

The school covers an area of 27,039.09 square meters, and has 33 faculty members 133, including 27 provincial and municipal academic leaders and high-level backbone teachers, 73 retired faculty members 1800 students. With the development of the school, the infrastructure is further strengthened, the teaching building is spacious and bright, and each classroom is equipped with multimedia teaching facilities.
