What's life like in space?

Looking up at the night sky, people always say that the beautiful Chang 'e lives a happy life on the moon. The World Aerospace Science, Technology and Culture Exhibition held in Shanghai opened a real door to space life for people.

At the exhibition, people wearing extravehicular activity spacesuits are performing.

This is the most expensive skirt in the world, and each piece is worth more than 10 million dollars. The atmosphere provides all kinds of protection for the earth's residents, including space suits: providing oxygen, eliminating carbon dioxide, preventing radiation, controlling temperature and pressure, and allowing astronauts to live safely in space for 9 hours.

Before wearing a helmet, you should wear a Snoopy hat, which includes a microphone and earplugs. This is the lifeline of contact with the earth.

Shuttle crew always wear thermal underwear made of special materials, and the rubber hose on it can take away the heat generated by the body.

Boots worn by astronauts, the soles of which are made of silicone. In space, the temperature difference between the sun and the shadow can reach 200 degrees, so the protective cover outside the space boots is made of multiple layers of materials that are both radiation-proof and resistant to high and low temperatures.

Eating in weightless space becomes a problem. The aerospace exhibition also exhibited the food eaten by astronauts. These foods are concentrated and dehydrated. When eating, you should first open a small mouth, fill it with water, and then slowly squeeze it out to eat when it is almost the same as before. However, these dehydrated foods are not as bad as compressed biscuits, and still maintain their original flavor and nutritional value. But weightlessness makes the brain congested and affects the taste of astronauts, so it doesn't taste good.

What you eat should be excreted, and the trivial things in life are not easy to solve in weightlessness. The device for collecting urine carried under the spacesuit can prevent astronauts from taking off their clothes and going to the toilet. The special feature of the toilet is that it can produce an attraction and help astronauts defecate smoothly in weightlessness.

Because the weight is no longer supported, the calcium in the bones will be lost and the muscles will shrink. Astronauts have to complete all training plans every day under the condition of increasing strength.

Because of weightlessness, any posture is the same when sleeping in space, and there is no difference between standing and lying down. In order to prevent them from drifting around when sleeping, astronauts use restraint bags to fix themselves on the bulkhead. But it is difficult to sleep well in the main cabin, because the sun rises every 45 minutes.

Bathing in space is very troublesome. A straw should be installed under the shower room to pump water and steam down, and the feet must be fixed, otherwise people will fall if the water rushes over.

On the space shuttle, cleaning is a very important job. Some wastes, such as hair, bread crumbs, coffee and juice, will become small balls and fly around. It is very dangerous if they fly into the instrument.

There is a garbage disposal center in the space station. In order to protect the space environment, all the work and living garbage must be dried and crushed here before being discharged into space.

Now, scientists are studying artificial gravity, which will make life in space not much different from life on earth in the future, and make space another home for human beings outside the earth.
