There are many national civilized cities in Hunan Province.

"National Civilized City" is the highest honor and the most valuable city brand in the comprehensive evaluation of domestic cities. Hunan has gained a lot from the 2020 National Commendation Conference on Spiritual Civilization Construction:

-Two prefecture-level cities such as Chenzhou and Loudi and two county-level cities such as Ningxiang and Xiangtan have become national civilized cities. The total number of civilized cities in Hunan Province has reached 10, achieving a new breakthrough from single digits to double digits;

Loudi, the second economic zone, was promoted to the "first phalanx" of national civilized cities, Yongzhou, the second economic zone, was nominated as a national prefecture-level civilized city, and four counties under its jurisdiction were nominated as county-level national civilized cities, which has a demonstration effect on striving for a "national name" civilized city in areas with low economic foundation.

The meeting also informed the list of cities nominated by national civilized cities in the creation cycle of 20021-2023, announced the second batch of demonstration sites for the construction of socialist core values in Hunan Province, and commended the advanced models of civilization creation in Hunan Province in 2020.
