Where is Lincang in Yunnan?

Lincang, Yunnan is located in the southwest border of Yunnan Province.

Lincang is named after its proximity to Lancang River. The Tropic of Cancer runs through the southern part of the jurisdiction, and the Lancang River and Nujiang River flow through the east and west sides of the jurisdiction, covering a land area of 23,600 square kilometers, of which the mountainous area accounts for 97.5%, covering 1 district, 4 counties and 3 ethnic counties.
