Foreign ships and cannons shattered the motherland's century-old peace; opium poisoned the minds and bodies of the descendants of the Yan and Huang Dynasties; in 1860, the Eight-Power Allied Forces of Britain, France and other countries invaded Beijing and burned the Old Summer Palace, turning the treasures of garden art and the essence of architectural art into ashes and becoming the culture of the motherland.
