On Saturday, the Danlang Club organized an outdoor hiking activity, with the destination being Zhangye Colorful Danxia.

‘‘If you don’t look at the snow on the top of the Qilian Mountains, you mistake Zhangye for the south of the Yangtze River’’ means that Zhangye has a unique natural landscape. Snow-capped mountains, glaciers, grasslands, forests, rivers, and the Gobi Desert complement each other. It has both the charm of the south of the Yangtze River and the scenery of the north. It has the unique culture and natural customs of the Western Regions in the Hexi Corridor!

Zhangye is an important town on the ancient Silk Road, an important thoroughfare of the New Eurasian Continental Bridge, and an important city for the cooperative development of the "One Belt, One Road" concept. There is a colorful Danxia in Zhangye, which is majestic, spectacular, unique in shape and colorful. She shocked the world with her natural beauty and shocked my soul which had been silent for a long time. The colorful Danxia is not a palette that God overturned, but a colorful ribbon left by the seven fairies when they passed through Zhangye!

? Legend has it that one year the Queen Mother had a birthday, and all kinds of gods went to Xitian Yaochi to congratulate the Queen Mother on her birthday. The Seven Fairies flew to Zhangye at the foot of the Qilian Mountains. Seeing the luxuriant water and grass, the vast sky and the earth, the blue sky and white clouds, and the simple folk customs, they flew down to heaven and visited the mortal world. Zhangye was a shining pearl on the Silk Road in ancient times, a small south of the Yangtze River outside the Great Wall. For several days, the fairies tasted delicious food, admired the beautiful scenery, walked through the forest trails, and wandered on the shore of the rippling black water. They had a great time! One day, I suddenly remembered that the Queen Mother's birthday was approaching, so I hurriedly flew west. In my haste, I dropped a rainbow-like colorful ribbon at the foot of Qilian Mountain, turned into a colorful mountain range, and stayed in Zhangye.

The seven fairies flew away, leaving behind colorful red clouds reflecting the white mountains and black waters of Zhangye. The white snow on the top of Qilian Mountain shows its aloofness to the world; the snow water melts into the rolling black river, which has nurtured the Zhangye people for generations. Colorful Danxia Mountain uses her beauty to show people her beauty, and uses her beauty to tell people this ancient legend. The beauty of Danxia is pleasing to the eye. She is the colorful ribbon left by the Seven Fairies, and it is also the beautiful scenery left by the Seven Fairies to Zhang Ye.
