How to prevent pseudorabies in pigs?

The disease is an acute febrile infectious disease of many animals caused by porcine pseudorabies virus. Adult pigs often have recessive infection, pregnant sows often cause miscarriage and stillbirth, and suckling piglets are infected with fever, dyspnea and nervous system symptoms, and the mortality rate can reach 100%.

After the onset of the disease, the body temperature of suckling piglets and weaning piglets rose to 465,438 0 ~ 42℃, with dyspnea, salivation, vomiting, diarrhea, unwillingness to eat, depression, trembling, unsteady walking, aimless forward, backward and circle, and finally passed out and died.

[prevention]

Inoculate attenuated pseudorabies vaccine or inactivated vaccine. When piglets are weaned, intramuscular injection of 1 is enough. Inoculate boars and sows with inactivated vaccine in the field without disease, and immunize them with attenuated vaccine with gene deletion in the field with disease.

[therapy]

There is no effective drug treatment for the disease, and only symptomatic treatment measures can be taken. It can be treated with hyperimmune serum, and the mortality rate can be reduced by intramuscular injection of 2 ~ 3 ml per pig/kloc-0 times a day for 3 days.
