It is best not to open windows in the distribution room facing the street.

Door design

The doors of transformer room, distribution room and capacitor room should be designed to open outwards to ensure safety. If there is a door between adjacent power distribution rooms, the door should be able to open in two directions to facilitate access.

Doors and windows should avoid direct access to dangerous areas.

In order to prevent the influence of acid, alkali, steam, dust and noise, doors and windows that are often opened should avoid directly entering dangerous areas such as transformer room, distribution room and capacitor room.

Setting of preventive facilities

Power distribution room, power distribution room, capacitor room and other important places should be equipped with preventive facilities to prevent rain, snow, snakes and rats from entering the room.

Treatment of interior wall surface

It is suggested to plaster and paint the interior walls of power distribution room, capacitor room and auxiliary room to improve the beauty and cleanliness. For the ground (building) surface, it is recommended to use advanced cement plastering and calendering, which is more durable. The ceiling and walls need to be painted accordingly.

Exit setting

There should be two exits in the power distribution room with a length of more than 7m, and the exits should be arranged at both ends. When the length exceeds 60m, an additional exit should be considered. If a double-deck layout is adopted, the upstairs distribution room should have at least one exit to the outdoor platform or passage.
