What was the name of Hadapu Town in Gansu Province?
The word "Hada" in the existing historical materials was first seen in the relevant records of the Qing Dynasty draft "Gansu Tusi Biography". According to legend, Sima Zhen, a descendant of Fu Bo General Ma Yuan in the Eastern Han Dynasty, was the first generation of Tusi in Dangchang. His father, Ma Ji, was awarded the position of commander-in-chief for defending the nine families of Hadachuan from Yuan Dynasty to Mindfulness, and was awarded the hereditary toast to manage hundreds of families. The meaning of "Hada", according to the brief explanation of Tibetan place names in A Historical Study of Dangchang written by Mr. Chen Qisheng, Mr. Zhou Ta's translation of "Hada" refers to Yangshan, that is, "living on the mountain", where there are many crows, and "Hadachuan" is a river dam on the mountain where crows gather. Some scholars also believe that "Hada" is a ribbon used by Tibetans and Mongolians in welcoming guests, giving gifts, worshipping gods and daily communication etiquette, symbolizing holiness and auspiciousness and expressing respect and congratulations. Hadapu is also called "Puli" by people nearby, which should be related to ancient post stations, such as Jiaolipu and Linjiangpu in Dangchang today. Although it is not clearly recorded in Gansu postal records, this place is undoubtedly a prosperous dry dock. Hadapu was a famous distribution center of medicinal materials in China at that time. Medicine merchants from Tianjin, Beijing, Anhui, Guangdong and other places once opened medicine shops here, such as Yihechang Pharmacy. The Guandi Temple under Hadapu Street has a large scale of construction, which is really rare in Dangchang area. Guandi Temple is a "God of Wealth Temple", which is respected by southerners and not by northerners. This is also a good evidence.
Hadapu originally belonged to Min County, and it is also called "South Road" because of its geographical location on the important traffic artery south of Min Prefecture. As for the name of "Bailong Town", it is related to the revolutionary activities of the Red Army in Hadapu. 1936 From August 7th, one month after the victory of "Taomin Xigu" campaign, the Red Second Front Army entered Hadapu on August 25th, rested for more than 20 days, organized the masses and established the Soviet regime. The Soviet government of Hadapu was chaired by Xie Yan, a poor peasant, and Niu Bingshan was the vice chairman. Set up, Yeren, Hadapu and Hadapu townships, with Liu, Mrs. Qianghu, Zhao, Zhu Shengsheng, and Wang Ge as the backbones, to form the township Soviet government. Guerrillas were established in Hadapu, Lichuan and Tanchang districts, with about 4,000 people. When the Red Second Front Army went north, about 800 guerrillas went north with the army. Most of this team was separated halfway, and some of them were sacrificed. Ma Fuquan, Yang, Du and others survived. At that time, the guerrillas sang: "Be the Red Army wholeheartedly, shoot the enemy, defeat the two bandit troops in Luma, and make great contributions to the people. Be a Red Army, shoot the enemy, defeat the warlords, defeat Japan, and the people will enjoy peace. " After the Red Army left, the people around Hadapu fell into hot water again. Kuomintang reactionaries headed by warlord Lu Dachang took crazy revenge on the revolutionary regime. Guerrilla commander Zhu, Secretary General Liu Ying, Soviet cadres Deng Yongwa, Zhao Haijia, Mou Zhangwa and Su Longlong were killed. However, the heroic people of Hadapu were not intimidated by this. Regardless of the enemy's repression, they took risks, kept many slogans written by the Red Army and the currency and utensils used, and named the children born in the Long March "Gu" and "Red Army Cheng". 10000 people participated in 1943 longyou peasant uprising, which effectively dealt a blow to feudal forces and shook the dark rule of Kuomintang reactionaries in the local area. In order to eliminate the influence of the Red Army, the Kuomintang reactionaries renamed Hadapu as "Bailong Town" on 1936. After liberation, the relevant departments of the central government specially authorized the local people's government to restore the original name of "Hadapu" in order to protect the historical place names that the Red Army passed through during the Long March.
