What is the true meaning of people's democracy?

The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that the essence of people's democracy is that there is something to discuss, and everyone's affairs are discussed. If you have something to discuss, you must accept good advice and cherish negotiation. Discuss how to get together, how to increase feelings, how to promote unity and how to promote the cause. In a place, the more you discuss, the richer your knowledge, the stronger your strength and the more harmonious your heart will be.

If you have something to discuss, you must pay attention to the way, be rational and inclusive, and be good at negotiation. "Every time there is a big activity, you must discuss it with each other" and "If you use yours, if you go out by yourself". Put forward opinions frankly, resolve differences amicably, and persist in seeking common ground while reserving differences, so that various demands can be fully expressed, opinions can be fully exchanged, and the interests of all parties can be fully coordinated.

If there is something to discuss, we must focus on the problem and negotiate sincerely, honestly and pragmatically.

Socialist deliberative democracy is real, not cosmetic. We are eager to discuss, but we also have the ability to discuss, carry forward the fine tradition of seeking common ground while reserving differences, mutual understanding and mutual accommodation, and discuss with each other with responsibility, affection and problems in order to get things done well.

At the same time, we should boldly innovate the contents, forms and procedures of consultation, strengthen the communication and coordination between CPPCC organizations and the United Front Department, pay attention to the application of consultation results, improve the mechanism of activity organization, submission, adoption and implementation of results, and truly rely on deliberative democracy to solve problems and promote work.
