Summer Magic Capital Exhibition Hall (VIII: World Expo Museum)

The World Expo Museum is a unique architectural complex. The coffee and beige walls are carved with blue-gray glass bodies, and each glass shines brightly under the clear sky in August. From a distance, it looks like a pile of luminous gems embedded in the West Park of Huangpu River.

After a hasty visit to Ukiyo-e, I was told that the Expo Memorial Exhibition, which is set up all the year round, has eight exhibition halls. So much? I suspected that I had misheard, so I gasped. The security guard at the door said, you can wait for the commentator. I have a look at my mobile phone. I don't have time. Let me take a quick look at the eight exhibition halls!

The first exhibition hall, "Universal Stage", is very eye-catching. It is a huge screen. The British World's Fair is also the first Expo. There is a transparent crystal palace model on a huge rectangular table, and the crowds on the screen shuttle. This magnificent palace has become the symbol of the World Expo. On the other side is the mechanical palace model of the Expo, which includes the most advanced steam-powered mechanical devices at that time. The white and transparent crystal palace, ingenious and exquisite, and the mechanical palace with a dim light make people stop for a long time and marvel. There are huge black and white photos hanging on the walls of the exhibition hall, showing a panoramic view of Paris. In the holographic film, a French commentator tells the story of past lives, who was born in the Eiffel Tower of the Expo, and Paris, who took the express train to hold the Expo's scientific and technological progress, gradually changed into a stage of diverse aesthetics, and a city itself was an exhibition.

In the second exhibition hall, "Road to Progress", while the wall continues to have a large screen, black and white movies are constantly flowing. In front of it, there is a square table the size of a ping-pong table, on which are architectural models of expositions held in various countries, and the specifications are similar to those of the previous exhibition hall. I can't look closely. I can't find any other words to describe it except shock. On the other side, there are fresh inventions at every Expo: washing machines, hot air balloons, telephones, typewriters … It was an era of all-out running, and every session had surprises.

The third exhibition hall, "Optimism and Faith", stands a launcher with a combination of a ball and metal, and a TV tower model. It seems that nothing attracts me, and it seems to be a continuation of the previous exhibition hall.

The fourth exhibition hall is "full of challenges", like walking into a glittering crystal box, because there is a crystal ball standing in front of me, and its changing lighting makes me feel like a lifetime ago.

In front of me, the fifth exhibition hall, "Century Grand Meeting", is a flashing photo wall. Countless photos are shining under colorful lights. The content of the photos is the efforts made by the country to hold the grand meeting at that time, from bidding to design, planning and construction, as well as the glorious deeds of workers from all walks of life who fought for it. They bear the inspiring dedication of a generation.

The sixth exhibition hall is "World Civilization", which displays exquisite exhibits left by many countries: Egyptian Pharaoh sculpture, Austrian crystal tiger, Burmese peacock musical instrument, British acrylic seed, Korean copper tree ...

The seventh exhibition hall is "Chinese wisdom", and the ceiling is decorated with a small model of the China Pavilion. Recalling that year, I helped my daughter and fell asleep at four in the morning. On the one hand, the partially flowing Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival was shown, which was queued for such a long time just to see it, and it was there, still so beautiful, so dazzling and so brilliant as before. There are many Expo memorabilia in the display cabinet, such as the Expo bench, the small fan with the Expo mascot printed on it, and a stamped passport. I think I just started to watch the exhibition in those days, learning knowledge, but later it evolved into stamping and stamping. Because time is too late, stamping a stamp probably means that the clock has been punched here. As for what I saw, it doesn't matter anymore. It's all dusty in my mind. I like this exhibition hall. My full memories are like a movie, and the past is floating.

In the eighth exhibition hall, "Vision for the Future", I saw a magic cave with color change, the ground, decorative walls, lamp trees extending around the center, and dark ceilings, which changed from blue to purple, and then from purple to red ... The slogan "Better city, better life" can be seen everywhere, which sounds quite kind now.

Because of the time, I skipped every exhibition hall in a hurry. This place is rich in information, and every wall, brick and decoration is silently imparting knowledge and energy to you.

I should be proud to walk on this land, because it is the only World Expo Museum in the world. It shows the history of human struggle for the development of modern social civilization, gorgeous and heavy, which is not awe-inspiring!
