Looking at the school mental health education in the whole country and even the whole world, our feeling is that mental health education cannot copy others' experience mechanically, nor can it invent a big and empty plan out of thin air, let alone be insatiable and do everything, but it can't do everything well. But according to the actual situation of the school, we should make practical plans, highlight our own characteristics and build our own brands.

First, the research and practice of three-dimensional psychological education

Based on the above considerations, to highlight our school-based characteristics, we must first study the actual situation of the school. Guangdong Experimental Middle School is a provincial key middle school directly under the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, the first batch of national demonstration ordinary high schools in Guangdong Province, and the first batch of schools with excellent teaching level in ordinary high schools in Guangdong Province. Students generally have excellent grades, good conduct and high comprehensive quality. The educational goal of the school is to cultivate students into "four excellent" talents with excellent moral character, excellent academic performance, elegant manners and good habits.

This means that as the only full-time psychological teacher in the high school campus, my job is not only to serve a few students who are psychologically confused, but also to cultivate better talents for the school with psychological principles and methods. This concept also fully conforms to the integrity principle and development principle put forward by the provincial mental health education guidance center. So I put forward the psychological education concept of "taking the development of all students as the foundation" and advocated the positive mentality of "healthy psychology, positive behavior and happy life".

Combined with the actual situation of our school, to achieve the above-mentioned psychological education goals, we should not only do a good job in regular psychological classes, lectures, individual counseling and so on. More importantly, we must mobilize the strength of all teachers and let every corner of the campus infiltrate the ideas, skills and methods of psychological education, so as to achieve our psychological education goals.

I regard all students as the main body of mental health education, and advocate that mental health education should focus on development, supplemented by consultation and correction. I pay special attention to promoting mental health knowledge to all students, emphasizing the comprehensive radiation of mental health knowledge. According to the number of class hours, group teaching and usual consultation, the average weekly class hours reach 12.

I opened a psychology course in senior one. The course content is integrated by the psychological teacher according to the survey results and the knowledge that students need most in recent years. The form is mainly activity class. Other grades arrange classes at least once every semester. The contents include learning methods, interpersonal communication, emotional management, and exam anxiety counseling. In addition, for individual classes with sudden emotional problems or typical emotional problems, the mechanism of making an appointment to give psychological lectures in the class is implemented. At the same time, a group psychological lecture is given to three grades every semester, an open class of mental health education is held every year, a lecture is given to parents every year, and a large-scale outdoor publicity activity is held every year. In addition, during the school science and technology festival every year, activities such as mental health photo exhibition, on-site psychological consultation and psychological film appreciation are carried out on campus.

2. Practical exploration of full participation

First of all, be good at finding colleagues who love psychology. Several colleagues like to study psychology in their spare time and have also participated in some psychological training. After obtaining the support of the leaders, I invited them to participate in the individual consultation work in the clinic, and learn relevant knowledge and receive training with them regularly. Because they learned something and gained something, they agreed happily, so I had a small psychological education team.

Secondly, it is really useful for education and teaching to make use of various opportunities to let colleagues know about psychology. One year after the National Day, a senior one girl with excellent grades went to the headmaster and said that she wanted to apply for quitting school. The head teacher, director and headmaster couldn't persuade her, so the headmaster asked me to talk to her. I analyzed with her, let her know her confusion, and even imagined the specific details of dropping out of school with her. Finally, I let her choose her own course. The next morning, she took the initiative to tell the principal that she had figured it out and would not drop out of school. In the next three years, her mood did not recur, and her grades were always at the forefront of her grade. There are many successful cases like this, which make colleagues understand that psychology is good for work.

3. The whole process of practical exploration.

While facing everything, realize the goal of the whole process. My psychology class has designed different topics according to different grades and time periods, such as adaptability education and interpersonal communication education in Grade One, team building, study guidance and goal belief education in Grade Two, ideal and future education in Grade Three, exam-taking skills, life planning and emotional management. The classroom where students study naturally becomes the main position of psychological education. At the same time, the characteristic of our school is to cultivate students' comprehensive quality. There are many school clubs and students' activities, so we rely on more than 40 clubs to cultivate students' psychological quality. As a key high school, the enrollment rate can not be ignored. Preparing for the college entrance examination every year is also an opportunity for psychological education that I must not miss. As a result, mental health education in our school has "four supports": relying on every teacher, every class, every community and every round of preparation. In practice, we operate like this: train a group of famous teachers with a certain specialty in the teaching staff. In terms of community construction, each community is required to have specific psychological education functions, such as sports associations focusing on exercising willpower and volunteer associations focusing on cultivating sense of responsibility and love. Only in this way can we give full play to the psychological education function of the associations active in all corners of the school.

Second, the characteristics of psychological education

Mental health education in our school presents a "four-dimensional" model with the following four characteristics.

1. The active participation of teachers has improved the efficiency of education and teaching.

The change of consciousness has brought about the change of attitude, and all the faculty members in the school know how to use psychological methods and skills in education and teaching. This method is correct, communication is smooth, understanding is deepened, and education and teaching efficiency is higher.

2. Students are willing to accept and develop preventive functions.

Because I focus on developmental education, and use the principle of positive psychology to publicize the excellent talent training plan and the learning potential development plan, students feel that mental health education is not as terrible as imagined, and it is not only knowledge that they have to contact when they are sick. When students accept it, the effect of psychological education will be more obvious, and courses such as team cooperation training camp, interpersonal training camp and gas station training camp are very popular. At the same time, students who encounter emotional confusion will calmly walk into the psychological counseling room and ask the teacher for help. They regard seeking psychological counseling as normal as taking medicine for a cold. Under this concept, the developmental and preventive functions of school psychological education can be fully brought into play.

3. Infiltration of team building, rapid growth and win-win situation.

Psychological education in our school is not confined to the classroom, but permeates team activities from time to time. Students cultivate teamwork spirit and learn healthy competition in class and community activities, which not only promotes personal growth, but also realizes team development. There are many societies in our school, among which art societies and science and technology societies often participate in national or even international large-scale competitions. Students' professional quality and excellent psychological quality, such as strong team consciousness, self-confidence, calmness and composure, have won medals in many competitions.

4. Explore the development of learning ability and achieve excellent results in the entrance examination.

Due to the emphasis on the comprehensive improvement and cultivation of students' intelligence and non-intelligence factors, our school has been in the forefront of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou in recent years in terms of the key rate of college entrance examination, the number of students with high scores and the average scores of all subjects, and the high-quality talents trained by the school have been widely recognized by the society.

Third, the effect of psychological education.

Everyone in the school participates in psychological education, and famous teachers of psychological education emerge. 4. Scientific research leads to improve the effectiveness of psychological education.

The first-level sub-project of the tenth five-year plan of national educational science, "School-based curriculum development and experimental research in experimental middle schools in Guangdong Province", was successfully concluded in June 2007. In April, 2008, the project "Building a three-dimensional mental health education model in schools under the background of new curriculum" declared by the school psychological education team and I also successfully passed the evaluation of the 11th Five-Year Plan for mental health education in primary and secondary schools in Guangdong Province.

5. The training of outstanding talents has achieved remarkable results.

Using the principles and methods of positive psychology, I developed a series of courses of "leadership style" group counseling training camp, which effectively improved the students' "emotional intelligence" in interpersonal communication, emotional management, judgment ability and leadership ability. Facts have proved that most students not only show the characteristics of responsibility, organization and leadership in school, but also become the core figures or leaders in a certain field after entering higher education.
