Publicity of national moral model candidates

The ninth national moral model candidate publicity was launched in June 2023.

In June, 2023165438+1October, Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China and the Central Office of Spiritual Civilization Construction launched the 9th National Moral Model Selection and Commendation Campaign. The Ninth National Moral Model can be divided into five categories: model of helping others, model of being brave, model of being honest and trustworthy, model of loving one's post and dedication, model of respecting the elderly and loving one's relatives, which were selected through the steps of mass recommendation, evaluation and public voting. Among them, the publicity time began in February 2023.

All provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and the Organizing Committee of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and the Political Work Department of the Military Commission put forward a list of candidates to be recommended on the basis of strict standards and merit-based recommendation in the local system. After soliciting opinions, media publicity and accepting supervision, the list was reviewed and signed by the leaders of the organizing committees of the activities of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and the leaders of the Political Work Department of the Military Commission on June 5438+February 6544.

Provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and the Political Work Department of the Military Commission recommend no more than 2 people in each category, with a total of no more than 10; Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps recommends no more than 1 person in each category, with a total of no more than 5 people.

National moral model selection criteria

1. Helping others: The main content is to be content and grateful, be kind to life and contribute to society. The main deeds are the deeds of advanced figures who have made outstanding contributions to helping others, serving society and promoting social progress in moral practice.

2. Be brave: with the main content of being brave, promoting justice and caring for others, it mainly tells the touching stories of advanced figures who are fearless in times of crisis, sacrificing themselves to save others and being brave in times of crisis.

3. Dedication: The main content is dedication, honesty and trustworthiness, serving the masses and contributing to society. The main deeds are the practical actions of advanced figures who are dedicated, down-to-earth, loyal to their duties and hard work.

4. Honesty and trustworthiness: in economic activities and social life, we always adhere to honesty, morality first, treat people with sincerity, take people by trust, keep promises, match words with deeds, and have a high social reputation and a good image of trustworthiness.

5. Filial piety and love for relatives: the main contents are filial piety and love for relatives, family harmony and helping others. It mainly tells the touching stories of advanced people who are filial to their loved ones, have no regrets, work hard and devote themselves wholeheartedly to their families.
