Using WPS or Word typesetting, in addition to setting various fonts, fonts, colors, and sizes, we can also use some alternative text styles. 1. Highlight? Unique framed text

Titles with a circle or square outer ring will give people a more prominent feeling and attract attention. The layout needs to add a circle or square frame to specific text, and there is no need to superimpose text boxes or circle graphics on the text. Just use the "Circle Font" tool provided in the "Font" setting project group, and you can complete the setting.

First enter Chinese characters or other characters and select the text to be set (note that it is a single text). Click the "Circle Font" drop-down menu in the Text tool group and select "Circle Character".

In the circled character style setting window, we will find that the set font is much smaller than the original character. At this time, if you want to expand the display, just select "Increase circle number" in the style list and confirm.

We noticed that not only can you set the circle frame through this method, but you can also choose three other types of frames from the "Circle Number" list, including box, triangle, and rhombus.

If you want to add a border effect to the text, you can use the above "square" type to achieve the border display of a single Chinese character. But if you want to add an overall border to a line of text, you need to use the "Character Border" command in the "Circle Font" font menu.

2. Get rid of mediocrity? Text in any direction

When typesetting, our text is arranged horizontally and vertically. Even the text box is just used to flexibly position it. But if you set some text to be typeset in any direction, it will give the layout more dynamics. This can be achieved by rotating the text box.

Insert a text box through the WPS?Insert?Text Box?command (the operation in Word 2016 is?Insert?Text?Text Box?), and then select the text box and find that there is a semicircle in the center of its border The text box can be rotated arbitrarily by pressing the button and dragging the mouse. If you want the slanted text to appear borderless in the layout, you can click the line button at the bottom of the settings toolbar on the right and set the line to "None".

After activating the text box in WPS, we found that the system generated a "Text Tools" menu, which can apply many kinds of artistic text styles in "Default Styles" (called "Quick Styles" in Word 2016). In addition, if you are not satisfied with these preset effects, you can also make free user-defined settings for the fill, outline, direction, effects, etc. of the text version.

3. Stability and change? Arbitrary-shaped text

Although the text content in the text box in the layout is difficult to change, the layout of the text can get rid of the deadness and remain unchanged. Rectangular mode, seeking more varied text block styles.

First create a normal text box. After clicking on the text box to activate it, another menu - Drawing Tools - appears in WPS, through which the text box can be set to any other style than rectangular. Select the text box, click Drawing Tools, Edit Shape, Change Shape, and then select the target shape you want from the preset shapes.

In Word 2016, you can change settings through the Drawing Tools Format Shape menu.

Similarly, we can also set further effects on the customized shape, including fill, outline and various preset shape effects. You can even create text boxes with three-dimensional effects.

4. Colorful? Artistic text

If the above text effects are based on text boxes, then we can also use another object to achieve special text Artistic effect, that is "Artistic Words".

Making WordArt is relatively simple. Just use the WPS? Insert? WordArt? command button, select a style from the pop-up preset WordArt styles, and then enter your own in the opened template. Just text.

Although the system’s built-in WordArt styles are very limited, just like the above text box settings, after selecting the WordArt box in WPS, the system will appear "Text Tools" and "Drawing Tools" Menu, through the command buttons in these two menus, we can flexibly modify the current word art settings to create more word art styles.
