Evolution of gaosha town's organizational system
Gaosha town used to belong to Wugang. In the Western Han Dynasty, Liu Sui was Dou Lianghou, and Gaosha belonged to Dou Liang, later renamed Dou Liangjun. In the Three Kingdoms, Douliang County was renamed Wugang County, and Gaosha belonged to Wugang County. From the 25th year of Qing Qianlong (1760) to the Yuan Dynasty of the Revolution of 1911, Wugang set up a state in Gaosha, which was under the jurisdiction of Dongkou County. In the twenty-fifth year of Daoguang (1845), Ganzong lived here, and Gaosha became the political, military, economic and cultural center of Wugang Prefecture and even Baoqing Prefecture. In the Republic of China, a district was established here. 1952 On February 24th, with the approval of the Government Affairs Bureau of the Central People's Government, part of the seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven districts and three districts in the northern part of the former Wugang County were set aside, and Dongkou County was established on April 60th of the same year, and the Gaosha District was under the jurisdiction of Dongkou County. 1995 merged gaosha town, Taiping Township, Chapu Township, Nanni Township, Ma 'an Township and Hongmao Township under the former Gaosha District to form a new gaosha town.
