Explore the Xanadu of Tujia people and find the legendary Xianju in the clouds.

April in early spring is a season of blooming spring. Even the air is full of vigor and green vitality. It is the most appropriate decision to pack your bags, get on the train and take a trip with your friends. I have always heard the name of Fanjing Mountain before, and I have a certain understanding through my photographs. Mystery, magic and delicacy have always impressed me. My heart is not as good as my action. With the warm spring breeze, I started this trip to Fanjing Mountain in Guizhou. As we all know, Fanjing Mountain, located in Tongren, Guizhou, is the main peak of Wuling Mountain and a famous Buddhist mountain. When visiting Fanjing Mountain, most people go straight to the top. In fact, around the foot of Fanjing Mountain, there are many pearls of Zhong Ling's beautiful natural landscape scattered. "Cloud House" is one of these pearls.

"Cloud House", what a poetic and romantic name it is. Listening to the name, people can't help but imagine that there must be a dreamlike scenery legend here. "Yunshe" Tujia cottage used to be the place where immortals lived. The immortals were moved by the hardworking and brave spirit of Tujia people, and moved to the immortal cave in the back hill to live, giving the fertile land to Tujia people. Tujia people named the stockade "Yunshe" to commemorate the immortal's achievements. It means "the house in the cloud, the place where the fairy lives". Actually, the word "cloud house" is taken from Tujia language, which means "the place where monkeys drink water".

At the foot of the majestic Fanjing Mountain and by the faint Taiping River, there is a natural village like a paradise, which is Yunshe Village, Taiping Township, jiangkou county. In the past, the Cloud House was once a humble Tujia cottage. Yunshe is 7 kilometers away from Jiangkou County and 23 kilometers away from the south gate of Fanjing Mountain. The total area of the village is 4 square kilometers. Among the 1,717 people in 439 households, 98% of the villagers are descendants of Yang, making it the largest village in Jiangkou. Yunshe Tujia still retains its own national customs and customs, so it is called "the first Tujia village in China".

The whole village of Yunshe is located on a flat dam, backed by green hills, and in front of the village is Taiping River, a "paradise valley" with a clear stream, which is definitely a land of geomantic omen. The antique bucket house is the most typical Tujia wooden building here. The mottled bluestone path winds around the front and back of every household's house. These winding lanes are like a maze, connecting every household in Yunshe. If there is no local guide, it is almost difficult to go out. The beautiful village chief proudly said that because of this, Yunshe has never been invaded by bandits.

In the middle of the village is a deep pool about ten meters wide and thirty or forty meters long, which is called Shenlongtan. From a bird's eye view, it looks like a swimming fish. The pond water is clear and sweet, warm in winter and cool in summer, and can be directly drunk. Water color in different seasons and climates, or dark blue, or turquoise, or green with purple, jade-like crystal clear. Walking around longtan lake, you will have many imaginations ...

Longtan is like a blue sky. The sky in the water is so blue, white clouds are fluttering gently, and eagles are soaring among the clouds ... Is this a clever Tujia girl who cut a piece of blue sky and spread it in the Longtan of Yunshe?

Longtan is like a mirror. In the mirror, you can see the Sanhe courtyard and the thatched cottage papermaking workshop of Tujia people; You can see young Tujia men and women singing love songs on both sides of Longtan; If you are lucky, you can also witness the lively scene of Tujia wedding procession carrying the bride with gongs and drums.

The mystery of the Dragon Pool has been recorded in history for thousands of years. "Guizhou Tongzhi": "Yunshe Spring is ten miles north of the province (Tongren Fucheng). When the year is dry, prayer is rain. " Daoguang's "Tongren Prefecture Records" said: "Yunshe Spring (Provincial Stream Division) is ten miles north, and it is dry at the age of five, and blood is painted on it, that is, rain." There are three wonders in the conclusion of Shenlongtan: one is unfathomable; Second, it can forecast the weather; Third, irregular spring water flows backwards.

Here, the Tujia people in Yunshe still retain their simple and elegant customs, traditional farming, Tujia brocade, hand-woven techniques and so on. "Cloud House papermaking, Cai Lun as the teacher". Paper-making, one of the four great inventions in China, still retains the water drainage, workshops and indigenous production techniques circulated in the Tang Dynasty.

the remaining ancient paper mills in the village. The ancestors of Tujia people worshipped Cai Lun as their teacher, and learned how to make paper, which has been used for hundreds of years. As one of the main economic income pillars of Yunshe Village, ancient papermaking has always been loved by villagers, and this precious traditional craft has gone through more than 3 years of history with Yunshe Village. Yunshe Village is more than 1,5 meters above sea level, with high mountains and dangerous mountains, lush bamboo forests, Dragon Pool in the village and Taiping River in front of the village, and flowing water is full of songs all year round. During the reign of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, the ancestors of Yunshe valued this land of geomantic omen, moved here, made a living by making paper, and the paper-making technology was passed down from generation to generation.

a very special barrel house. Tujia Bucket House is the most distinctive Tujia ancient building in Yunshe. Its structure is generally composed of a main house, a slant house, a wooden building and a facing door. It is also called bank up Bucket. Generally speaking, the overall building of Yunshe Bucket House is square, which is high in the north and low in the south, with the main room above, divided into nave and left and right wing rooms, and the building below. Some are connected around, and the middle is vacant, forming a quadrangular patio. (There is a big word on the left and right of the gate, which means "blessing" and "longevity")

Most of the ancient houses in Yunshe are dry-column buildings with barrel houses, three-way courtyards and quadrangles, with white corners and corridors, which are green and scaly, magnificent and very simple and spectacular.

In particular, all kinds of carved railings in Diaojiaolou are blackened by the smoke and dust of the years, but the ingenious conception and exquisite craftsmanship really make people gasp in admiration.

In modeling design, square, round, oblique, square, longevity picture, flowers, animals and all kinds of fruits are all drawn. Although different in thousands ways, they are all lifelike, which fully embodies the industrious wisdom and love and pursuit of life of Tujia people in past dynasties.

The Tujia nationality in Yunshe has a long history of thousands of years. During the Warring States Period, it was said: "Chu Zi destroyed Ba, and five brothers of Ba Zi flowed into the middle of Guizhou. There is a world in Han Dynasty, which is called You, Chen, Wu, Wu Dance and Yuan Wu Xi, each of which is the length of a stream, and it is called Wu Xi Man." Tujia people in Yunshe lived here for the ancestors of Chenshui. Nowadays, the characteristics and uniqueness are that, through historical evolution, Tujia ancestors interacted, merged and married with other ethnic ancestors, and Yunshe Tujia still retains its own national inheritance and customs. This is a thousand-year history and cultural reappearance of Tujia people in China.

In the old house with all-wood structure, you can clearly see all kinds of big-character slogans during the Cultural Revolution, which has become the imprint left here by that era.

Hongnong, the county name, was built in the fourth year of Yuanding in the Western Han Dynasty (113 BC), and its jurisdiction is about the same as Luoshui, Yichuan and Xichuan basins in Shaanxi, south of the Yellow River in Henan and west of Yiyang. After the Jin Dynasty, hongnong county's jurisdiction gradually narrowed, but the line from Huashan in Shaanxi to Sanmenxia in Henan Province has always been an eye-catching area in hongnong county, because it is the birthplace of Yang, the first noble family in the world, and Yang is the noblest and most respected in the eyes of Yang people in the world. Many Yang genealogies trace their distant ancestors back to Hongnong Yang.

Many ancient houses and ancestral halls built in Ming and Qing Dynasties are scattered along mountains and rivers. Walking along the deep roadway and on the winding, rugged and narrow bluestone road is like walking into that long time.

In the dusk that just drifted through the drizzle, the cloud shed has gained a girlish charm. The continuous ridge, which is not lofty, is looming in the clouds, full of lush eyes, the water is clear and calm as a mirror, the green of the leaves is tender, and even the flowers on the roadside are elegant and casual, and there is no delicate and charming competition. After every step, the flowers and plants are full of comfortable and leisurely atmosphere.
