New policy of Zhanjiang electric vehicle licensing

1. The real-name registration system shall be implemented for the management of electric bicycles. An electric bicycle shall be registered by the traffic administrative department of the public security organ, obtain a driving license, and hang an electric bicycle number plate or a temporary number plate before driving on the road. The Municipal People's Government shall formulate measures for the administration of registration and licensing of electric bicycles.

2. The traffic administrative department of the public security organ shall make it convenient for the masses to handle the license plate by reasonably setting up the license plate handling points, providing online handling channels on the Internet, and promoting franchise sales. Licensing points, online processing channels, registration procedures and required materials shall be publicized to the public.
