Establish and improve the organization structure for preparatory work

Promote the construction of venue facilities and information systems.

The construction of the Ordos Multifunctional Sports Center, the main venue of the Games, is in full swing and will be completed by the end of 2014 as planned. It will be put into trial operation after acceptance; the water sports venue and the renovated athletes' village will be completed in 2015. It will be delivered for use in June; the internal facilities of other existing venues are also being renovated and repaired. At the same time, the construction of the games information system is being developed and improved.

Start large-scale event planning and competition services.

Adhering to the principle of "frugality, pragmatism and excitement", plans for large-scale activities such as the opening ceremony, closing ceremony, national gathering, and torch relay are being further refined and improved. In terms of competition services, in April 2014, a national national aerobics training class was organized. In July, the sports meeting registration system will be put into trial operation. In August, two national invitational tournaments for pearl ball and top will be held. The bidding and procurement of competition equipment for the Games and the design of trophies, medals and certificates are progressing as planned. We are formulating plans for the selection and training of auxiliary referees and competition staff for the Games, and are assisting the organizers in completing registration for the Games and athlete registration.

Promote publicity work to continue to heat up.

The publicity work of the sports games is divided into five stages: preliminary preparation publicity, comprehensive publicity, pre-meeting publicity, mid-meeting publicity and post-meeting publicity. Preparatory and publicity work has been fully advanced, and the second phase of publicity work has been successfully launched. The official website and Weibo of the Games are now up and running. Completed the collection and production of the sports games anthem, emblem, mascots, posters, etc. From July to December 2014, the first round of comprehensive publicity reports will be organized, sponsorship and investment promotion work will be launched, and various systems and implementation details for the market development of the Games will be released.

Ordos City currently has more than 30 three-star or above hotels with nearly 6,000 rooms. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the games and various activities, the Ordos Municipal Government built a security command and dispatch system for the 10th Ethnic Minority Games based on the MapGIS platform, making full use of big data, the Internet of Things, Beidou Navigation, and GIS and other technologies, to deduce the security work plan for the 10th National Ethnic Traditional Sports Games, visualize the deployment of police forces, and realize joint operations of multiple police types and departments.

Carry out recruitment of volunteers for sports games.

In October 2014, volunteer recruitment will be launched in accordance with the needs of the Games. The recruitment will be mainly carried out in major technical secondary schools and government agencies in Ordos City.
