I started a free clinic in xx nursing home at 2: 3pm on October 14th, helping every elderly person in the nursing home to do a general physical examination, take blood pressure, electrocardiogram, blood sugar, medical history inquiry, medication guidance and health evaluation. At the same time, we will send some publicity materials such as "hypertension"

"diabetes" and "healthy diet", ask about their living and eating habits and the medication of hypertension and diabetes, and give guidance. At the same time, we will build a health record for every elderly person.

II. Summary of activities

Our center distributed more than 1 related publicity materials during the activities of the Double Ninth Festival, and received more than 2 elderly people's consultation and free clinic. Among them, blood pressure, blood sugar and electrocardiogram were measured for more than 2 people. Through the activities of caring for the elderly on the Double Ninth Festival, the elderly have a general understanding of the basic knowledge of preventing and treating hyperlipidemia, hypertension, diabetes and coronary heart disease, and actively publicize the medical reform policy in China and the fact that caring for the elderly benefits the people. It took the first step to improve the health level of community residents and develop good health habits, and actively advocated a scientific, civilized and healthy lifestyle.

On the 47th Lei Feng Day, in order to carry forward the spirit of Lei Feng, care for the health of the elderly, and build a happy Germany and Germany, under the call and organization of the yingde city Committee of the Communist Youth League and the General Party Branch of the hospital, on March 4th, under the leadership of the senior expert Huang Yangmei, deputy chief physician of our hospital, a group of 1 young volunteers from our hospital came to Yingcheng Nursing Home to visit 29 elderly people here and conduct a series of physical health surveys for them.

The free clinic activities are carried out in a planned and orderly manner, such as taking blood pressure, doing electrocardiogram, listening to the heart and lungs, asking medical history, prescribing, taking medicine, distributing medicine, etc., and some elderly people with mobility difficulties take the initiative to come to their homes for examination. We are very busy, especially our manager Huang, who is very careful, enthusiastic and warm, and integrates medical activities with family activities, making the elderly feel particularly cordial. At the end of the activity, all the medical volunteers took a group photo with the old people. During the whole process, we made physical examinations for 29 elderly people, of whom 26 distributed medicines for the elderly free of charge, and presented a batch of spare medicines and gifts to the elderly.

With the old man's reluctant retention and thanks, we waved goodbye to them in the car. Do our best, help others, serve the society, carry forward the spirit of Lei Feng, care for the health of the elderly, and build a happy Germany and Germany. At the same time, during the activity, the Chinese medicine culture of our school was publicized, and a platform for students to exercise was provided, which enhanced students' sense of responsibility, group awareness, massage techniques and medical knowledge, and at the same time trained a group of key talents.

For us, the free clinic activities have enabled medical students to further master the exercise of measuring blood pressure and listening to cardiopulmonary sounds, and at the same time, we have improved our ability to communicate with others. University is a small society, and stepping into university is equal to stepping into half a society. We are no longer flowers that can't be beaten by wind and rain in the ivory tower. The professional theoretical knowledge learned through practice has been consolidated and improved. Through practice, the original theoretical ambiguity and impression have been consolidated, and the original theoretical deficiency has been compensated in practice, which has deepened the understanding and digestion of the basic principles.

Although everyone was very tired after the free clinic and the manual physiotherapy for a long time, they enjoyed serving the people and improving themselves at the same time.

however, this trip also exposed some problems. For example, at first, some students were not familiar with the techniques shown in the free clinic, and some students were a little nervous. But under the guidance of the teacher, the students soon became comfortable with the operation.

As medical students, we should pay attention to the operation and principles of the usual experimental class, strengthen after-class exercises, consult teachers and strengthen experience exchange, and be familiar with and master some basic operations!
